• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Interesting performance comparo between F3 and Indian

I will do it, when the time is right, but I don't own a go pro and dont intend to in the near future. And at the end of it all, it doesnt bother me if it is faster or slower than anything else, I bought it because I like it, I am really just interested in knowing what the difference in...

Interesting performance comparo between F3 and Indian

I have only ridden around 1300kms (about 800 miles)on my F3 SM6 due to rubbish weather here at the moment, and I still havent really had a proper play, but I can tell you in 3rd gear my rev limiter kicked in at 158kph which is a tad under 100mph. With 4th and 5th gear still to be used I can see...

Memorable Town Names - Places to visit

We have a few unusual names in NZ, Mainly based around our Maori Culture. If the letters "wh" are together it is pronounced as an "F" So we have places like Whakatane (fa ka ta nee) Whakamaru (fa ka maa roo) and this one even Kiwis struggle with Whangamomana (fung a mom a na) I worked and...

    Parking brake ?

If it is the same as the ST park brake, no it won't, Im pretty sure you have to be almost stopped before it will engage.

    Rear Sproket Change

A possible fix could be to get your dealer to plug in the BUDS, and see if your F3 has an option to set to international settings, if so once you change your sprocket and belt you can change it to the International setting, which will then have the same settings as our F3 here in NZ and...

    Exhaust?

Akrapovic is an option. HMF are a great sounding muffler, but putting an aftermarket muffler on a 2014 RS/RSS will still sound a little quiet until you do something about the pre-exhaust muffler, replace with a Pit Bull Cat Delete before changing your muffler. Just my opinion

RS rider takes the F3 for a demo ride.

I guess I must be doing something wrong then?? Or my riding buddies are trying to make me look good. And to be honest, I haven't been delusional for at least a couple of months ;)

RS rider takes the F3 for a demo ride.

I respectfully disagree, I went riding with some friends that I ride with a lot, they are mainly RS and ST riders. We went for a ride through one of our favourite twistie areas, I was up front on my F3 and there was no-one sitting on my tail like has happened in the past when riding my RSS or my...

    F3 Belt Tension Specs

If the F3 in Australasia and Europe has the same belt, rear cog, gearbox etc as an RT, why would you not keep the belt tension to the same as an RT?

Fixing the Windshield That Won't Stay Up

I had similar gas smell problems, and bad idling and at times wouldnt idle, it turns out it was the Purge Valve was not working properly, it was replaced under warranty and I no longer had the gas smell, and idling was back to how it should be.

    Nice ride?

When Cruising in 6th gear, just under 3000rpm and travelling at 100kph which is close to 60mph. My ST doing 100kph was doing 4500rpm.

    Nice ride?

In New Zealand our F3 has the same rear cog and belt as the RT and vibration is minimal and only a matter of going a little faster or slower to sort it, I guess the problem is exaggerated a little due to the bigger rear cog and belt on your F3. I am loving mine, we rode around 310kms (almost 200...

    Finally

Well after over a week of some very bad weather, I woke up on Sunday morning to a beautiful day, so called some friends and an hour later 6 of us hit the road for a ride. The F3 is a very different beast to my ST, and I love it. But definitely need a screen. I moved the footpegs forward to 4 and...

    Finally

I definitely like the look more than the stock muffler, or the shiny Akrapovic. Jeff may be too scared to let you ride it, as he then may have to get you one lolol. I think they have, but definitely need a screen, as Im a bigger guy and catch a lot of wind lolol probably the only negative for...

    Finally

Thanks Lois, we get the same exhaust as you did in Australia, I don't like the look of the new Akrapovic either, too shiny for me. My dealer, that I work for on Saturdays had an Akrapovic off a 3 cylinder RT on the shelf, so we decided to see if it fits, and it did, just a slight mod needed on...

    Finally
