• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Who's signed up for Spyders in the Ozarks - 2023?

Wife and I will be there for our second road trip on our 23 RTL. We just got back from a 2400 mile round trip to Colorado and it was a blast whenever we ran into another Spyder. Hopefully got all the kinks worked out road tripping!

Do I need an alignment after installing a new Sway Bar? 2022 RTL

Lol I know the feeling. I made it through the sway bar install without issues. But man...the oil change. I think I cracked a rib laying on my side on the garage floor! Not kidding!

What do you use for music? 2011 RT Stereo

I use Tidal streaming from my phone to my Sena headset. I keep a few playlists and albums downloaded in Tidal for when I'm out of cell range.

I haven't noticed anything with mirror interference - but I just installed them yesterday. Thanks for the tip about the security option for the arms.

First road trip coming up - any last minute Words of Wisdom?

I've driven it before...after the first week of snowfall! It's spectacular when everything is white and the road is still open.

2020+ Arm Rest observation - there's a flat spot for a Ram Ball mount!

3/4" to 1" LONG - not 1/4 x 1". 1/4" thick screw would be too large I think. These would be closer to something like #6-8 maybe?

    My new Utopia Backrest

If I did that all I'd get is a shoulder massage and no lumbar support! IYKWIM... roflmao

2020+ Arm Rest observation - there's a flat spot for a Ram Ball mount!

The holes aren't threaded - it's a composite material underneath the rubbery cover. So use some 3/4-1" coarse thread stainless screws that fit through the ram mount holes...I just pulled some from the loose screw jar so not sure on exact size.

This? It hasn't always been there? Do you know what thread/screw size?

gel cushion info needed for 22RT Please

I actually just got a Butt Buffer (large) in today for a trip I'm taking end of the week and like how it feels. I had tried an air hawk previously but didn't care for it (at various air fill volumes) and returned it - it chafed a bit on my legs and I felt like I moved around too much. I plan...

Need to get more slack wiring for Helibar Install - anyone else? Solutions?

Yeah on that right side - take the top side panel off and follow the wire bundle down from the top...you'll eventually find a clip or whatever attaching it - it'll be up high and in a bit and hard to see. I had to reach it with my cutters. Snip it and the bundle will be free to pull out enough.

    Pedal Box/Pedal Commander Discussion

I bought a Pedal Box+ first then a few hundred miles later added a stage 2 tune. IMO the stage 2 lessened the need for the Pedal Box, but didn't eliminate it. I find my preferred Pedal Box setting to be "less" with the stage 2 tune than it was without it - but I still prefer the Pedal Box to...

2020+ RT Handlebars are too much of a reach for me - any other options?

Helibars! Not only can you bring them back...but also up/down and change the wrist angle as well to get the controls exactly where you want them to be. I installed mine with less than 400 miles on the Spyder! Buy once, cry once.
