• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2013 ST front brakes

Brake pad change I have just over 15,000 on my 2014 RT-S SE6 and the front pads have about 50% remaining. The back was another issue. The trailing edge of the outboard pad was less than 1mm, the leading about 2mm, inboard the opposite but just slightly thicker. Do they normally wear like this?

    Rear brake pads

I've not, but it looks like the piston is a little cattywompus, and it won't turn. I'm not attempting to reinstall the original pads and hand brake, then pump the brakes in an attempt to correct the piston. I've not applied any more force than a screwdriver attempting to lever it in, but...

    Rear brake pads

I am attempting to install new EBC brake pads on the rear of my 2014 RT-S SE6 and appear to be unable to compress the pads enough to slide onto the disk. I have a little over 15,000 miles on it and the outside pad was worn out and the inside with more than 1/2 pad remaining. I have the front cap...

    Rear Tire Options?

Narrower tire Any thoughts on using a narrower tire. I'm not an engineer, but I'm wondering if sharp turns deflect the inside sidewall, without deflection of the outside tire wall, doesn't increase the tire pressure. The weak point would be pushing out the middle of the tire, subjecting it more...

I have a 2014 RTS SE6. Two days ago I had an orange screen at startup that lasted about 5 miles. Yesterday it lasted about 25 miles. The morning about 50 miles. I'm in New Mexico and not close to a dealer. I had some rain with the key in is the only thing outside the normal. Should I head for...

Hwy 12 It turns out that I've been on Hwy 12, I checked with my brother. It was our first ride together 15 years ago. I had borrowed a bike of his before I had bought my own, and other than the MSF class, about 30 years since I had last ridden. The "road of no U turns has a way of making a...
