• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Extra drive belt storage

I’m leaving Nashville in early May for Alaska, with plans to ride Dalton and Top of the World gravel roads. I’ve added a missing belt guard, air bag protection, bump skid and using car tires. Just in case I’m packing an extra drive belt. Has anyone discovered a place other than the 4 luggage...

    2014 RTL Digital Display Question

Glad you picked up on this so quickly. Right after I purchased my 214 RTS SE6 I headed west towards Prescott, AZ. I hit the road about 5am the next morning and my only thought was that I had that “dreaded orange screen” but could find no error code number. I slowed down until daylight when the...

Looking for some engineering fabrication advice

Trailer loading Keep in mind that you are adding weight at the extreme end behind the axle. This may cause the empty trailer to weave at speed. I speak from experience.

Camping Inc Canada This has been about 8 years ago in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island but I don't remember the rates any higher than US rates. We got away with primitively camping right on the beach once.

Rear brake caliper on 2014 RTL at 15k miles

Brembo brake caliper I replaced my pads about 15,000 also, the rear needing them, the front not so much. I had been told to use needle nose pliers to rotate the piston in, but this didn't work for me. I new they made a tool for cars so tried borrowing a kit but they were all too big, so I made...

    Air bag armour

Response You sound like you are a good bit more serious in making it to Deadhorse. I grew up on a farm and have plenty to truck and tractor driving on dirt and muddy roads so don't feel a need for practice. My fear of having to go too slow is not making it while others are still using the road...

    Air bag armour

I just finished installing Doc's air bag armour and really glad I have this behind me. Fortunately there was just a little dust below mine but its usefulness will come next year when I attempt the Dalton Highway. Doc's video on installation was essential but I didn't need to remove my belt...
