• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone towed their Spyder on a Stinger Trike Trailer?

I've heard some bad reviews about those Stinger trailers (questionable materials and workmanship). Maybe they have improved their trailers, who knows ??

Will Using 87 Octane impact performance?

I had to use cheap, low-octane fuel in an emergency. Performance was neglible; however, if I was riding two-up or hauling a trailer or riding up steep grades, it might make more of a difference. <shrugs>

To Choose a Blind Spot Mirror or a Blind Spot Detector - or Both?

The difference is the SIZE of the vehicle. You can easily cover the blind spot on a trike A LOT easier than if you were driving a car.

To Choose a Blind Spot Mirror or a Blind Spot Detector - or Both?

This is a bit of an overkill, no ?? I mean, what's so difficult about turning your head ?? The Spyder isn't THAT big, lol. Just drive defensively and be aware of your position amongst the other vehicles .... (But I suppose if you've had a cervical fusion and have limited range of motion...

A small Safety Mod to our 2022 RTL with a big improvement!

If you have small hands like I do, this small mod is worth its weight in gold. Definitely the best bang for the buck mod !!

    I test rode a 2023 today!

Sure you can. I do it all the time. I just set the cruise control and off I go. Sometimes, I do the "Look Ma, no hands" when there's no vehicles around me.

I put my Spyder to bed today, for A Long Winter's Sleep!

C'mon man. You have to invest on a leaf blower and a snow blower, LOL.

How do you secure your Helmets when leaving your bike?

I use my ski/snowboard retractable cable lock similar to this...

Any advice on side luggage compartments that won't open?

Adjust them. It was really easy on my '18 RTL. Pushing the side while pulling up on the lever to open it got old REALLY quick.

Monster vs. Wick-It vs. Denali vs. ??

I know you do. I read "ECU FLASH IS GREAT" at the bottom of your signature every time you post, LOL. Do you have the Stage II ?? I remember you showing me where to locate the duct when you did the airbox mod. I'll most likely do the Stage I, so you'll still be the fastest bike on our riding...

Monster vs. Wick-It vs. Denali vs. ??

Programming tool ?? I didn't realize there was such a thing. Can you toggle between stock performance and enhanced ?? How difficult is it to work with the tool ?? How much was it ?? I'll probably do the Stage I mod, though I'm not sure yet because it'll all depend on how Stage I feels...

Monster vs. Wick-It vs. Denali vs. ??

Looking for just a little bit better overall performance. Will probably stick to Stage I, not sure yet.

Monster vs. Wick-It vs. Denali vs. ??

Could be a different Denali. But I think they only wok on Can-Am side-by-sides, because I didn't see any pics of Spyders on their website after I posted my thread.

Monster vs. Wick-It vs. Denali vs. ??

Looking to reflash my bike's ECU for better-than-stock performance. Anybody have any experience with these guys ?? What reputable company does good, timely work ?? Thanks in advance.

Imagine you are on your Spyder when this happens

Oh, btw, as I got behind the wheel to prepare to take off, not 10 seconds later I see the flashing lights of the Nevada Highway Patrol SUV behind me. Great. ****en great.... The NHP officer gets out of his car, walks to my driver's window and with a smirk, asks, "So. I see you went shopping...

Imagine you are on your Spyder when this happens

Here's my similar driving experience, copied and pasted from another forum: I'm haulen ass up Pyramid Highway with my pickup doing about 70, and a small couch from a truck ahead of me decides this is about the right time and place to fall off. I see it, but there were vehicles on my right side...

    Peacekeeper6 Mod Thread

This is likely my next upgrade. I've been hearing good things about it, but need to find out which company is reputable and does quality work. I'll probably send my ECU after this riding season is over so I won't miss any upcoming rides.

    Peacekeeper6 Mod Thread

The ONLY position to ride in besides lead. I don't like having to worry about riders in front of me AND behind me. The problem with being tail gunner is that there's an increased chance of being separated from the group, and are likely to be left behind if the ride leader isn't considerate...

    Peacekeeper6 Mod Thread

TBH, I don't find riding while listening to music particularly pleasurable. Too much wind noise for my taste. Plus, my RLS cat delete and Two Brothers Racing exhaust easily drowns out any music that can come from a sub and amp upgrade, LOL.
