• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question for those paralyzed from trauma

I am what they call a "walking paraplegic". I suffered a crushed spinal cord at T10 due to a GSW on Feb 3, 1990. They told me I would never walk again on Feb 18th, 1990. My Aunt and I prayed that day and they discharged me from the hospital on Feb 21, 1990 and I walked out the front door. I...

    Fuel Gauge Readings

After a fillup, mine would read "almost full". I disconnected the analog gauges and use the digital ones on the display. They are much more accurate.

Yeah, I seem to recall hearing something about that. :) But then again, it's pretty common 'round these parts.

    SPYDERFEST 2013 "The New Adventure"

The wife and I are planning on attending, and this will be our first Spyderfest. Heck, we just got the Spyder 3 weeks ago. Last time I was in that area was for Camp Jeep 2002 and loved it. Google says it is 9 hours and 8 minutes for us, so that translates into 12 hours the way we ride, LOL...

    Accident and Spyder totaled

Wow, sure glad I don't have Progessive. I have Geico for my van and both bikes. I had a claim on my other bike last month, someone knocked it over and banged it up. I had a check the following afternoon for far more than I anticipated.

Difference between Sena SMH5 and SMH10?

Thanks for the greatly informative reply. Most of what you mentioned for the SMH10 are of no real benefit to us, so our purchase decision will boil down to price.

Difference between Sena SMH5 and SMH10?

We're shopping for Bluetooth headsets to use on the Spyder and from our research, Sena seems to be the way to go. However, in our research, we have not been able to determine the difference between the SMH5 and SMH10 models (other than price). Can someone with experience with Sena enlighten us...

Where to get 12v outlet for dash?

I had the shop disconnect my analog gauges and I want to put a 12v receptacle where my fuel gauge was. I have searched here and online but haven't been able to locate a weatherproof (resistant) 52mm version. Does anyone know of a place to get one? Thanks.

My Experience with Motorsports Superstore in Hamilton, AL

I bought my new 2012 RT-S SE5 about 2 weeks ago from a dealer in Kodak, TN. I tried to buy one from Big Number 1 in Birmingham but they weren't very willing to negotiate plus they bluntly informed me that if I bought a Spyder somewhere else, that I would be treated as a second class customer if...

    600 Mile Service

    What's this?

I looked into getting an MP3 but found that Piaggio is no longer importing any of them to the US. I found this out by calling the HQ directly and speaking with customer service.

Where do you get your maintenance items?

OK, it seems Baja Ron is the "go to" guy for this. Next question, how can I tell which transmission filter my 2012 RT-S SE5 has? I read that there is a short and long version and having never seen either, I don't know what to look for.
