• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Bottomed out

710005642 is the number for a 2015 F3S SE6 Reverse Actuator Support. You didn't say the year of your Spyder. Just google Spyder Parts and find exploded view of Electrical System Accessories.

    Bottomed out

What you have bent is the reverse actuator support. Probably when it was bent down it was holding it in reverse. Now bent up it is probably to high to operate reverse.

    Removing enamel paint from glass

If possible only use stainless steel razor blades. They will not scratch the glass. That is what is used to remove window tint. Any good paint store should be able to give advice on the proper chemicals. Good Luck.

    Lamonster Garage

If the DESS Module doesn't recognize your key. The Spyder will not start. And every time my F3S did this it was never convenient to attempt to figure out what action to take to get the thing started.

    Measuring AmerSeal?

Purchased Amerseal from Lamonster. Ran it until replacing OE tires. Sealer wiped off the wheel with a paper towel. Put Amerseal in new tires. Guess I was lucky.

Open or Enclosed Trailer to Haul Motorcycles – Thoughts?

I have a small 6 x 12 Haulmark Edge Lowhauler. My F3S fits well and easily. And I have hauled a ton of other item. Enclosed gets my vote.

What's the deal with closing the F3 Gas cap!?

I know that WD40 is not a LUBRICANT. The issue with the locks is the LUBRICANT "BRP" chose doesn't continue to LUBRICATE the lock mechanism. The WD40, doing exactly what is engineered to do, makes the lock lubricant pliable again. I, like Highway 2013, have had excellent results. For four years.

    Push pins

Sorry about your experience at Harbor Freight. Maybe you should take another look at their current inventory. They have tools for folks with lesser standards than you. They also have tools that are all polished and shiny. If that is important.
