• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Blue Highway ib Canada ...

I'm Canadian (obviously) and that is a new one for me and I've driven across several times. Never heard of the Blue Highway so I'd like to know too. As far as I know the only highway that actually goes right across is the Trans Canada. There are others that branch here and there so you can go...

    HeadSet

Not sure what prices you are seeing or where you are looking at price. If you have not, you should check on the price from MotorcycleDave , a vendor/sponsor on this forum. He will have the best price you will find. Gary

Thanks everyone for your responses. I'm going to do some measuring today based on the numbers Don at F4 detailed in his recent video and try and figure out what will work best for us. Gary

F4 Customs Tall and Wide RT windshield question

For those of you that have made this switch from the OEM to the Tall and Wide for the RT model I have a question. How much difference do you AND your passenger feel compared to the OEM windshield and in particular when it is in its fully extended position at highway speeds? Even lowered all the...

Do not try at home....3 times!

A little surprised by this because of the possibility that things could have gone wrong. When I lived in central Ontario and was very involved in our volunteer Fire Dept, ice water rescue was something we practiced a lot. Even in a controlled situation we would have had a safety harness on the...

    New Member with Important Question

I understand your concern and there have been a few such questions by folks like yourself recently. You can probably find some of them and the responses. Many will tell you forums are full of comments about problems encountered while most of the happy campers don't comment about themselves not...

    Keurig, anyone else addicted ??

That is a beautiful area. Yes, we stayed on the Canadian side but really no difference other than an invisible line separating the two. Hardly ever saw any other folks out there but lots of wildlife. I suspect we could spend hours recalling trip moments. Thanks, Gary

    Keurig, anyone else addicted ??

Pasta noodles and fresh green moss. Now there's the ticket. Tamarack needles are about on a par with spruce needles I find. Gary

    Keurig, anyone else addicted ??

Ya, me too. Still love to canoe and still do. Love to ride/ryde but canoeing has been a bigger part of my and my wife's life. And you're right, everything DOES taste better in the wild. Even if you accidentally dump it in the dirt and have to eat it anyway. Don't ask me how I know this. Pretty...

You are absolutely right. Never, no matter how wet it was, did we ever fail to get a fire going. Gary

    Keurig, anyone else addicted ??

Well, who knew! That is EXACTLY what we used to do on canoe trips. Thought it was just a Canadian thing :joke:. To be absolutely proper you are supposed to do a little chant when pouring in the cold water. Gary

Might just want to check that the valve stem in the Schrader under your seat is tight too. Gary

    Solo trip advice

Some additional thoughts, If you wear prescription glasses, bring along a second set in case something happens to the first pair. If you have prescription meds, make sure you have enough for the duration of your trip plus a bit more in case you get delayed. Keep them in their original...

    Pickups trucks,

Another one you might want to check out is the Honda Ridgeline. More along the lines of a Toyota Tacoma in terms of size etc. We have a 2013 model and chose it over a Tacoma, not because we didn't like the Tacoma but because we liked the Ridgeline that much better. The 2017's came out this year...

    Jump start pack

That is essentially what I used to do. They were lighter weight ones that could be used on our bikes and then the Spyder. I also bought one of the antigravity units from Pitbull at Spyderfest in 2015. Gary
