• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F4 Customs 28" Windshield on My F3-S is the Bomb

Tango, You were right about Alicia being helpful as well. I forgot to give her a shout out. Trikermutha, I have a DropTail SCT2200 trike trailer on order and can't wait to haul the F3-S up to the North Carolina/Georgia mountains to enjoy the enhanced ride qualities it offers in the tight...

F4 Customs 28" Windshield on My F3-S is the Bomb

I know that the subject of windshields and their utility sometimes brings out strong feelings in both directions about the need for one and the lack of need for one. My naked bike/trike days seem to be well behind me. I did enjoy riding my new-to-me 2015 F3-S without a shield after having...

    New frame F3s

Mike, Thank you for the heads up on an ignore list option. I don't think it will be necessary to use it as long as I don't get too riled up about overarching statements. You may take my critique as a stupid personal attack but what you may not be realizing is that you are potentially damaging...

    New frame F3s

Mike, In my Internet experiences, when someone uses the letters "IMHO", it suggests that the opinion about to be offered is one that contains some humbleness. I can't figure how your "Good luck..." phrase with included shouting and a thumbs up is anything but significantly lacking in humbleness...

    F3 suspension

deer30084, BajaRon makes some good supporting comments to my previous post about how your ride is yours to enjoy in whatever way you choose. I can share with you that a particular set of products he makes for your suspension really improved the handling of my 2015 F3-S and that was the...

    F3 suspension

Deer30084, None of us even "need" a Spyder when you get right down to it. OTOH, getting a bike or trike and personalizing it to our tastes is part of the fun for many of us. Some are into cosmetic enhancements while others of us prefer to concentrate on performance enhancements or both. Like...

    Another Spyder F3 Shock comment

Well, for better or worse, I upgraded my 2015 F3-S shock to the Occasional Two Up shock (BRP Part #219400739) at the same time that I had the service bulletin completed that involves installing a rear mounting plate that bolts atop the frame over the rear shock underneath the rider's seat...

    Bad dealers

What a sad story. Some dealerships just don't seem to understand the components for good customer service. Suggest you contact Don, the Ebay Internet Sales Manager at Mosites Powersports in PA (412) 376-2300). He appears to love his job and his number one ambition seems to be to satisfy his...

    T-boned yesterday.

Very sorry to hear about your ankle injury. I hope that you heal quickly and get the very best medical attention available. It just reinforces my perception that EVERYBODY in a cage is trying to whack us whether it be intentional or not.

    F4 Custom F3Limited Review

Naked F4=One Sad Bird 50+ years of riding and I have had a couple of bird strikes but not like the one today on my F3-S that I have been running "naked" without a windshield. The bird hit square in the middle of my face shield at about 65 mph and I knew that it was too big a thud to be a bug...

    I drove an F-3 T today!

Stumpy, I can see a possible situation where your wife begins to enjoy riding more and you end up with and F3 and she gets the RT. In the Harley world, there is a husband and wife team where she got the Harley Tri Glide and he ended up with the sportier Freewheeler. They seem to be having a ball...

    F3 Backrest ? worth getting

The BRP backrest has about a 2" screw that goes through the lower part of the vertical steel backrest support bar horizontally and parallel to the ground and above the fender mounting hardware and below the two seat pans. The kit is supplied with a capture nut that snugs the screw up to the bar...

    F3 Backrest ? worth getting

Please let us know, does it have an anti-theft feature built-in so somebody doesn't walk with your comfy backrest?

    I drove an F-3 T today!

Myron, I see by your tag line that you just got your RT in May of this year. What is it about the F3 that would make you switch so soon? Is it the riding position, engine, etc.? The reason I say this is that I recently got a second trike in a demonstrator F3-S but I don't think for a minute that...

    F3 Backrest ? worth getting

Midian, I had deleted my previous post about the Smoothspyder backrest being kind of unsightly. Capt. Jim's picture angles on the white Spyder with saddlebags on this thread did not show how uniquely the Smoothspyder's backrest works in the driver mode. I went to his website and on the third...

    Oil Leak already

John, Don't let Bluenight's observations let any doubt creep into your psyche. The oily gremlins came late in the night and put a few teaspoons of extra oil in the tank and that is how it came to be slightly overfilled. The dealership warded off those oily gremlins and all is well in the world...

    Oil Leak already

Den1953, No harm no foul whatsoever. If we lived in climates where there was a limited riding season, I too would defer anything that was not critical until the end of the season as well. Oil leaks are a little freaky and I am glad that John caught his problem as early on as he did. It will be...

    Oil Leak already

John lives in North Florida. We don't have an end to our riding season here. January and February can be a bit chilly but can also be in the 70's. I was playing with our new Stand Up Paddle Boards on Lake Hall here in TLH that we got for Christmas on Christmas Day with a high of 80 degrees last...

    Oil Leak already

John, Those folks at Orion Motorsports seem to be on the ball and very interested in providing good customer care. Zach and his team will get that thing dry as a bone before you know it. Thanks for the positive update.
