• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Oil Leak already

John, Not to worry. My brand-new 2016 Harley Tri Glide started leaking radiator fluid just after the 1000 mile service. The dealership had to replace a few defective plumbing parts and a defective painted part and the trike was down for 10 days. It kind of gave me a case of the "yips" where I...

    F3 Backrest ? worth getting

Interesting that you ask this question. I just installed a Spyder backrest on my F3-S yesterday afternoon. I have a bit of a funky back and left hip. The backrest makes the F3 significantly more comfortable for me because it takes off the pressure to maintain proper body alignment with my back...

    Baja Ron F3 anti-sway bar

Call another dealer. It doesn't sound like the one you tried is very customer friendly. I wouldn't do business with people like that on a bet. I am sure that there is another dealer withing easy reach that would love to have your business. The RonBar and LED headlights should be something that...

Do I really need a new swaybar?

Deer Slayer, I appreciate your concerns for people not doing their due diligence. I appreciate the fact that you have done a ton (100 mph) on your Goldwing which is quite admirable in you exploring some of its upper limits. However, there are some of us who were doing a ton in third gear on our...

Do I really need a new swaybar?

Malathion, No hate on this end. However, in post #33, BajaRon advised "You also get a bit more improvement if you replace the stock plastic Heim Joint Links with the BajaRon Billet Aluminum Heim Joint Links because the stock plastic links stretch a bit absorbing some of the sway bar effect."...

Do I really need a new swaybar?

Well, I don't know? I guess having owned 96 two-wheeled motorcycles and 2 trikes does not make me an expert, that's for sure. However, I have tracked a 748cc sport-bike and raced autocross with a car I owned that would do 0-60 in 2.7 seconds with racing slicks and pull 1.5 g's without wings or 3...

    Removing the catalytic converter

You didn't photoshop that did you? ;););) Sure looks like a cat. Mystery solved. Now I have two trikes with cats. Guess I am going to need a litter box?

Do I really need a new swaybar?

ThreeWheels commented that a RonBar is not essential but welcome. A nice sentiment that I think is born out of the application. In the case of the Spyder F3-S, after a spirited 120 mile ride this morning, I consider the RonBar with billet aluminum heim links from BajaRon to be essential for the...

Do I really need a new swaybar?

Okay BajaRon, Your product with the exception of a few glitches in the instructions is so right on the money that I can't believe it! The plastic heim links that come stock with the F3-S are pure crap. The BajaRon billet aluminum heim links are so much more robust, beautiful and functional with...

Do I really need a new swaybar?

Yowser! I got my BajaRon F3 swaybar and billet heimlinks today in the mail very promptly from Spyderpops. There order processing was phenomenally fast. I invited a neighbor over tomorrow morning and we are going to install that "bad" bar and links. As Ron requested, will let folks know what I...

    F3T vs F3s/F3 full review

Martin, Thank you very much for sharing stills and video of the Transfagarasan highway. It is indeed beautiful and so isolated. It would be a lot of fun to take my new-to-me 2015 F3-S and run that road. It reminds those of us who live in more populated areas that there are still beautiful...

Can't figure out which way the wheels should go?

Shortly, The F3-S will have a windshield, backrest and a RonBar with BajaRon billet heim links (like early next week). I am very fortunate to have a patient wife that has stuck with me for 28 years. She is known to our friends as "Saint Wendy".

Can't figure out which way the wheels should go?

Bob D. You were probably thinking of a more conventional side-by-side than the previous post. It is hard to tell which bike is which except the wheels are in different places. I don't know which will attract the ladies better during Thunder Beach in Panama City, Florida so I included that...

Can't figure out which way the wheels should go?

I need a backrest for the F3-S to make the U-Fit redo more comfortable and my front tire on the F3 is HUGE compared to the Harley. However, now I am getting confused when I mount my Tri-Glide:joke:

Do I really need a new swaybar?

Ron, Thanks for your detailed reply and explanations. I just ordered one of your swaybars with billet aluminum heim joint links for my 2015 F3-S. The multiple benefits of increased cornering stability and crosswind taming sold me. Capt. Bob

Do I really need a new swaybar?

Just the person I wanted to ask. So, will a BajaRon sway bar help my F3-S to perform significantly better in terms of body lean around the tighter twisties? I have heard that putting RT sway bars in is a big help. Could you please articulate which one works the best and why? One last question...

Can't figure out which way the wheels should go?

I posted this afternoon on another trike forum and thought it would bring out a few smiles for some of you that have had to deal with the issues outlined in the post. "With the exception of one 100 mile ride after my recent 6k cross-country journey in early June on the TGU, I had not operated...

No Runs No Drips No Errors

This Harley oil drain pan will be perfect for your trike. It is ultra-low in profile, holds a boatload of oil and makes it easy to take it to the recycler. http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/low-profile-oil-drain-pan Please don't dump it on the road to hold down dust. I hate the taste of oil...

Can't figure out which way the wheels should go?

JayBros and Trikermutha, Thanks for the great advice. I read the link that JayBros posted. I will be getting a sway bar as the F3 is not quite as laterally stable as I would like. I love the way the footpegs work in relation to body positioning and being able to counteract some of the...

Can't figure out which way the wheels should go?

Wow, Wow and more Wow! I just got back from my first spirited ride around some canopy roads and undulating hills out in the countryside with the F3-S. All I can say is that this trike is soooooooo much fun! The linear power of the 1330 and the low-end torque combined with the Spyder suspension...
