• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Air filter & bypass pipe

I had just the bypass pipe with the stick muffler and it sounded pretty good at idle and when downshifting. But it didn't sound too good with upshifting. Even with a baffle it was real raspy. I never used it with my Two Bros muffler. So if you want to have better sound that's not too loud, swap...

    BRP idler with RR roller?

Actually, you do have the roller for sale separately on your website. One with and one without the orings for the ribbed belt.

    BRP idler with RR roller?

I have emailed Doc about this but he didn't think it would work. It's not that I don't trust the BRP, I've had mine on for a few 1000 miles but I've been hearing a lot of horror stories of the roller tearing up. I was just mainly wanting to change the roller if it would fit due to the double...

    BRP idler with RR roller?

Just wondering if anyone here has tried putting a roller from Roadster Renovation on a BRP idler arm?

Can't decide which model, RT or F3 Limited

Thanks for that insight, I never thought about those aspects between the different models. I will take my newfound knowledge and test ride both and make the best decision.

Will F3 wheels fit on RT's?

Are you thinking the calipers or brake discs may interfere with the 15" wheels? The discs should be a touch smaller since I have 14" wheels now. I looked up the tires sizes and the 165/55-15 are 1.3% or 0.3" smaller in diameter, width is the same and the circumference is 1.3% or 1" smaller. So...

Will F3 wheels fit on RT's?

The 2 different sizes are very close in size even though the wheel size is different. I just mainly want to see if anyone has done it and if the bolt pattern is the same and if they will fit under the fenders.

Will F3 wheels fit on RT's?

You're right on that but I was wondering about putting them on the older RT models that have the 14" wheels. The tire sizes are really close. 175/65-14 on the older models 165/55-15 on the newer models The newer model sizes should be a little narrower and shorter. I just wanted to make sure...

Can't decide which model, RT or F3 Limited

Thanks a lot guys, your responses are great and has helped us to really know what to look for. I really like the 998 but we love to just poke around on back country roads and enjoy the scenery, and I think the 1330 is better suited for that. The 998 really wants to be revved. And the missus...

Will F3 wheels fit on RT's?

I have a chance to pick up a set of F3 front wheels with tires for a really good price and wondered if they will fit on an RT that has 14" wheels? I have a buddy that is in the process of trying to find some financing on my current RT and he likes the look of the F3 wheels.

Can't decide which model, RT or F3 Limited

Yeah, we're probably going to stick with the RT. But man, that F3 Limited goes so good. I've read where the upgrade from the 998 to the 1330 is a huge improvement.

Can't decide which model, RT or F3 Limited

My better half and I are deciding to take the plunge and upgrade from our 2010 RT. It's been great and is still an awesome machine but the 1330 looks better and better in regards to fuel mileage and easier touring. But.... I'm torn between another RT or the F3 Limited with the trunk. The F3...

    Its Back!!!! Throttle body code

Well I have a little good news, even though it's a little odd. I pulled the panels and started the bike, wiggled the wires and connections going to the throttle body and the idle evened out. I shut off the bike and also removed an aux cable that i use for my xm radio, it was routed above the...

    Its Back!!!! Throttle body code

I think that's ridiculous that you have to pay for the replacement when they know it's been a problem for so long. They covered the part on mine but I had to foot the labor. Which I didn't agree with but seeing it was the first time plus it was out of warranty, I sucked it up and paid. But if...

    Its Back!!!! Throttle body code

You don't understand, when these codes pop up it puts the machine in limp home mode. And when it's like that it either shuts off immediately shuts down or it will idle really rough for a few seconds and shut off. There is no running a few tanks through it with fuel cleaner. I run the highest...

    Its Back!!!! Throttle body code

No I don't have that information anymore. It was back in 2015 so I'm not too sure if they have revised since then or not. I know one thing, this is getting old. I really don't want to start over paying for a newer one but if i have to, to keep my sanity, I will.

    Its Back!!!! Throttle body code

Did you have to pay to have this 2nd one installed? Would this new one be the latest revision of the throttle body?

I mean what is the main issue? What was changed when the 2013's came out?
