• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tired of the sissy wave by other riders

My goodness, if all I have to do on a very relaxing ride is worry about somebody waving or not, or the type of wave they give me, my priorities are in the wrong place. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. That’s what it’s all about.

    Rear tires

I’ve seen many posts about using regular car tires on the rear of a spider RT. Not being that familiar with the mechanics, are you talking about any rear tire of equal size, such as a Goodyear eagle or Bridgestone etc?

    Spare front sprocket

First of all, I am now too damn old to climb under a bike to put a sprocket on or off to make sure that it’s solid. I can lay down and reach up and see if there’s any red dust which there is not. I do not want to get stuck on the road having to wait three or four weeks for a part, in the best of...

    Spare front sprocket

With all the things I’ve been hearing about front sprocket failures I decided the best thing to do would be a buy a spare and carry it in my trunk. I order one from cheap cycle parts and being very honest they said it might be several weeks or even months before I get one. In fact my order...

    My butt thanks you!

Well, I rode my Heritage Softail from Durango Colorado to Lincoln Nebraska, 827 miles, with a sheepskin seat topper and I couldn’t of done it without it.

    Damaged Drive Belt

Like others have said, the belt is pretty tough. I saw a demonstration at my local Harley dealer where the belt was actually cut in half all the way down the length of it in the middle. One side was attached to the handlebars on the left and the other on the right of a new Harley bagger. Then it...

Satellite radio on a 2012 RT Limited

I simply run mine through my telephone that already has XM on it. It works very well when you hook it up to a USB port. I also run my regular radio stations the same way. Very simple with no headaches.

How should I Wash my Spyder - 2020 RT?

I use Maguires ultimate car wash which also has carnauba wax in it. Works great. I guess were dealing in semantics here and I should clarify by saying I might wash my bike two or three times a year. I clean it up at least once a week by spraying water from a spray bottle and using a soft towel...

Tired of the sissy wave by other riders

Never had it happen. Must be an East Coast thing. I hold up three fingers and they gave me the Harley wave back.

    June's weather news 2021

Yesterday it was 101° and today it will be 104 with winds close to 30 miles an hour. Nice thing about it I won’t have to fire the grill up. I’ll just leave them on the sidewalk.

Hate putting air in rear tire.....Hate it.

I find if I get the valve stem pointing to the rear of the trike it is very easy to check pressure and put air in it if necessary.

Where to get a replacement Windshield Arm?

That’s why I like this site. It’s like a bunch of military buds covering each other’s behind.

    New offer from AAA

I just received an offer from AAA that for $25 you can add benefits until your next renewal. I’ll say upfront they didn’t say what it’ll cost after that. They doubled the towing mileage from 100 to 200. It now includes a motel plus meals if you’re stranded and it will also pay for a rental car...

    My butt thanks you!

I know a couple of players on this wonderful forum sell the same thing so I’ll make this a general product positive review. I just received my butt pad made out of lambswool cut it 1 inch. Since it is 96° here in Lincoln Nebraska, it was a great day to unpack it and try it out. What a...
