• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Would this work for towing a 2018 RT Limited?

I had the dealer come and pick up my RT with a trailer. Tried it nose first and it was about ready to hit so I stopped him. We thought for a minute and for some reason when we drove it up in reverse the clearance was just fine. Food for thought.

Lifting a spyder rt with an atv hydraulic floor jack

That’s what I use on all my Harley’s and it’s very steady. Also has a safety lock or ratchet that has to be unlocked before you lower the Jack.

Why so few Radio stations with engine running?? Any fixes?

I have given up on the BRP entertainment system and gone with a simple iPhone. I plug it into the USB in the trunk and I can get AI am/FM and satellite radio loud and clear. I can also answer my phone through my navigation system that I have mounted on the handlebars. Much less frustration.

What Analog gauge replacements did you use?

I’m sorry I really don’t know what kind of a spider you have, but my RT has a blank round cover on each side of the dash. If you remove that cover you will find some wiring for the gauges that could go in there. I don’t remember the exact hook up but with the Number gauge I put in, it is very...

What Analog gauge replacements did you use?

If you look at Arian’s post above, that’s exactly what I put on mine. It has an active voltmeter and two USB ports. I’m very pleased with it and it was an easy installation.

What Analog gauge replacements did you use?

Do a search on the voltmeter/USB port add on that I put into one of the blank spaces on the dash, where the voltmeter and oil pressure gauge is would go on a limited. Very easy installation which took me about 30 minutes.

After advice on cost for my 28K service?

I bought my RT from an estate sale and the trike had sat for sometime. I took it to the dealer and had them go from front to back and bottom to top to make sure everything was in order. This included changing all the fluids, Spark plugs, and a computer check. The bill was right at $500 and I...

    Share your mouse repellent ideas

I have used Irish Spring soap for many years. I simply cover my spider with two sheets and put a bar of Irish Spring underneath the trike on top of the box it came in. Never had a problem.

OK now we got a plugged tire now what ?

Years ago before the rope plug and I am talking in the 60s and 70s, tire plugs for made of rubber and looked like a mushroom or umbrella. We had a special tool that pushed it through the hole that was reemed and then pulled back on the stem and aired the tire up to get it to seat. After a few...

    2022 Route 66 Ride

I rode it three years ago on my heritage Softail. Most of it was well marked and many times I was the only vehicle on the road for miles. The only problem I had is after riding about 75 miles I came up to a barrier that said road closed and I didn’t really want to go back 75 miles. And then I...

Need to get over Fear of Leaving my Spyder in Hotel Parking Lots Unattended O/night

I’ve made a few bucks in bar bets. I’ll leave the key in the bike turn all the switches off and say “I’ll bet you a drink that you can’t start my bike.“ No one to date has been able to figure it out and I have even been bribed to show how to do it. I bet Harley riders two drinks:dontknow:

    Right wrist pain

I also had wrist pain when I first got my RT. I didn’t know what was causing it until it finally just went away after about a month or two. I chalked it up to the difference in geometry on the bars of Can Am compared to the bars on my Harley. Now everything is just fine.
