• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Electric Brake Controller - any ideas on how to add?

Looking at the manufacturer's website https://www.tekonsha.com/Product/902502_trailer-brake-control-proportional I see nothing about bluetooth on that unit. Mine are not bluetooth but work with the handheld unit provided. I do see that Amazon says it is bluetooth and wonder if that is a misprint?

Wondering what you've all done for Towing mirrors?

I added the Lamonster top cuffs and a couple of mirrors I got off of Amazon. They are just high enough to see over my Aspen camper and everything behind me. When done towing, I screw them off and put plastic plugs into the threaded holes.

    Is BRP GO useful?

I use it with Sygic for navigation, use the music ap to listen to songs off of my phone, and love Dash radio. I am very glad there is no built in GPS, my truck and car have built in GPS sytems and they have an annual update available with a $200.00 price tag attached to it. I myself do not want...

Screwed the pooch - U0128 Code & Trans Fault - any suggestions?

I put mine in gear all the time with the parking brake on and never a problem. If yo try to open the throttle it will beep at you, but a simple release of the parking brake and off you go. I think those problems and you putting it in gear is unrelated. I did have the windshield not go up and...

When and where was the first time you rode a Can-Am tryke ??

In 2015 I rented an RTL for a day just to try it out. I had hit oil on an exit ramp in the rain a couple of years before on the 1991 Yamaha Venture Royal towing a camper trailer and ended up hitting the bumper of the car in front of me just hard enough to lay it down. Broke of the anti dive on...

Beware of ethanol in Loves Truck Stop gas!

When on vacation on the back roads, towing my camper, out in the middle of no where in IA this year, I was stuck with E15 as the one and only available option. I wasn't happy about it, but used it. Bike did not seem to be affected by it in any way. That was the one and only time I have used...

More tire pressure stuff - a method for calculating tire pressure?!

I just got back from a 2 week trip from MI to CO and back towing my Aspen camper fully loaded and 2 up with bike fully loaded. We rode in rain 11 of the 14 days, not all day rain every day, but some rain, about 4 days were rain all day. I have the factory tires on the front, and the Q5 on the...

Installing Trailer hitch - avoiding obstruction in axle housing?

Did this have a trailer hitch on it before? I know that on the Show Chrome hitch, it comes with inserts that go into that axle and the small bolt goes through those. Inserts shown in this pic. When I take the hitch off to change tires, the inserts stay in the axle, they do not come out with the...

Installing Trailer hitch - avoiding obstruction in axle housing?

Nothing to remove, trailer hitch for the bike goes over that. If you look at the pic, there is a bump out in front of the three mounting bolts, that axle nut you show is under that.
