• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    charger in frunk?

Any reason you don't jump the fuse to make the rear trunk plug always hot? I have a '12, but find using the cig lighter adapter for my charger back there super easy. I can't help on the front trunk though, sorry :D

    Finally! Volt Gauge Installed

only wired it wrong once haha the positap didn't get a good connection to the existing BRP gauge's wire. once i figured out that was my problem and not a bad gauge, all was well :-)

    Finally! Volt Gauge Installed

I didn't think to do that. The gauge itself take a plugs with the 4 wires (included). All the wires had the ends cut (but plastic still on the wire) at the perfect length to work in the positaps. I just slid off the insulation at the ends of the 3 wires I needed and wrapped the unused one with...

    Finally! Volt Gauge Installed

After a misfire on my first gauge being too long, I opted for the EVO Digital series from Prosportgauges (http://prosportgauges.com/evo-series-Red-and-Blue.aspx) because it's actually shorter than the replaced BRP gauge. So, I knew it'd fit no problem. Two wires to the existing accessory power...

    2014 Radiator Protection

It doesn't take much to ruin a good day. I've had a small rock fly up from a car in front of me in downtown St. Louis on the highway that happened to hit my compressor on my 2004 Accord and put a hole in it. You'd think that'd be protected too. Even a smallish piece of debris at 60mph has the...

    2014 Radiator Protection

This may have been asked and answered somewhere where I missed it, but, what sort of protection is there for the radiator/fan combination in the front of the 2014s? I can see a large enough rock falling from god knows were and whizzing right up an intake on the front. Is there are substantive...

Volt Meter Bolt Mounting Alignment Mismatch

I was looking to replace my right gauge with a volt meter. I actually bought one, but it was too long. On top of that, I noticed the mounting bolts are at 9 and 3 whereas the Spyder's mounting bracket has the holes at 12 and 6. So, if I replace my gauge with the right depth gauge, how do I get...

Great USB Power Adapter Mounting Solution

I would think you could. If you can remove the existing socket and have kept your original gauge's mounting piece that connects to the back of the dash, you should be ok. I tapped into the original gauges power and ground because I don't plan on drawing power for anything more than a gps or...

Great USB Power Adapter Mounting Solution

My wife and I had previously installed a Blue Sea Dual USB Charger (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0082CXEI8/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but it wasn't really a visually appealing setup since the charger isn't a 52mm gauge size. I came across JT's Spyder accessories site and...

    Do these actually work?

Ever the skeptic, I was curious when I saw these. Never heard of such a thing. I'm not interested in buying them as I'm using Ride On, just more curious if they are legit...

Jaguars burn to. Jags 1 Spyders 2

Let's not even get into the number of recent Ferrari fires lately. See, even a vehicle costing over a 100k can go up in flames. There have been more Ferrari fires than Spyder fires. nojoke

    Spyder Pricing and possible competiton

A new Harley & Goldwing trike were both more expensive than the Spyder when we looked by a significant margin. When compared to those, I think you get a great value considering the features.

Who do you go thru for insurance?

Get our via State Farm in Missouri. They have our two cars and home insurance. The Spyder cost us $40/mo for excellent coverage. I'm listed as the primary driver at age 36 with a flawless driving record and claim record. Geico and Progressive for me were almost double.

Beeping while shifting & pop while using signal

I went out Sunday and fired it up checked to see what the volume and input were. I switched it from aux which my phone was plugged into for Pandora and the volume was super high (80%). I turned it down to maybe 15% and to FM and everything was fine. No beep and no noise from activating the...

To RideON or Not To RideON

Other than the hassle of getting it into the tires, it's great. We put it into our 2012 RT-S and the first 10 or 15 minutes after putting it in the tires there was a bit of a shimmy until it was evenly distributed. We ride every weekend and we've never experienced any further shake or wobble...

Beeping while shifting & pop while using signal

Good idea about the radio. Now that I think about it I switched from FM to Aux at that stoplight where it all started. No CB but this gives me something to try tomorrow!
