• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Drill, electric screwdriver or manual?

Actually when it comes right down to it, a tool is only as good as the hands that wield it. I knew a guy who could break an anvil in a sandbox, and lose the pieces.

    Drill, electric screwdriver or manual?

I've lots of power tools, but always start a nut, bolt, screw by hand, and only use a power tool after it's well started. Unless it's a self-drilling screw.

    2021-2022 Motorcycle Insurance Renewal

Considering the relatively small size of the Spyder, I'd not be all that prepared to go over $100,000 for coverage. Unless the area you live in is rife with Lamborghini, Ferrari, and McLaren autos, it's unlikely you'll cause that much damage to a normally priced vehicle. Besides you hit someone...

    2021-2022 Motorcycle Insurance Renewal

Hard to tell what anyone thinks of your coverage when you don't list it. Telepathy? :)

622 Trailer wheel hub seal - anyone have the generic part no?

Can you just get the bearing number and get it from a parts house? You may have to measure the OD, ID, and thickness of the seal, but should be able to source those too.

    Drill, electric screwdriver or manual?

If I need any electric tools, they're Dewalt.

    Secondary Brake Strobe Light Installed

"Thats why emergency vehicles have them on the backside of their vehicles." And they still get run into, and ignored. I certainly can see the sense in having it higher, but strobes just irk the heck out of me.

    Secondary Brake Strobe Light Installed

Not me, the last thing I want is the guy behind me so distracted by the flashing lights he hits me. I hate the strobes, and flashy stuff. Headlights too.

Opinion on Fox Podium 1.5 front shocks

Wish they had them around that price for a 2013 ST-S. Over $1000 is ludicrous.

    Anyone riding a Corbin seat? 2019 F3

I had a Corbin seat for my FJ1200, the Gunfighter and Lady. It didn't work for me and I was never happy with it. It was very heavy due to the thick fiberglass build. I kept it for a few years but never used it. When I finally sold it, the fiberglass had broken. They offered to repair it, but I...

curious and questions about getting my permit? (in Washington)

In Missouri, the CanAm sponsored rider course will allow you to get a motorcycle endorsement without taking the riding test. You still have to do the written test. I also agree that if you can drive a car, you can ride a Spyder. The course may be nice, but it won't teach you much that you...

Fitting BajaRon F3 anti-sway bar links only - any good?

"Okay", not great, but okay being the operative word. It will work, but personally I don't see much real benefit, just installing the links. JMO of course.

    Interesting Read

Yeah great, and you'd only be able to use Apple helmets, Apple boots, Apple gloves, etc. Add-on or after market parts would be non-existent. You'll be limited to using the Apple charging system. And it will cost 2 or 3 times what a normal vehicle would, and you'd be expected to get super...

Has anyone noticed, or is it just me

My all time pet peeve: two trucks on the interstate, with one trying to pass the other. One is doing 65 mph, the other is doing 65.1 mph. Do they do the considerate thing and move over? Surely you jest, they just ramble on down the highway letting huge lines of traffic back up behind them. I...
