• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

1330cc Oil Filter at Good Price

JMO, but I don't believe anyone did any flaming. Just alerted the OP to the fact that there are site sponsors who also sell Spyder parts, and at reasonable prices.

Not to mention supporting the site sponsors.

Key or no key that is the question...

I don't think so. That's like saying once you've been in an accident you'll never ride again. Stuff happens. Someone thieving my stuff is not my fault, it's the fault of the one thieving it.

Looking at buyin a used F3 with low miles some questions

Well, that is certainly very low miles. I'd first try to find out why it is so low. But perhaps the trike was sold as a left over 2018, in 2019. That would make it maybe 2 years old. Honestly if it looked good, ran good, and the price was right I would probably give it a shot.

    Fuel price still rising

On an RV forum I belong to, there are several vociferous proponents of EV's, and they continuously contend there is no problem with the electric grid, and besides the EV's will be mostly charging at night when there is a surplus of capacity. In their eyes if you're not a EV owner, you're a...

    Fuel price still rising

I believe Hydrogen is still being seriously looked into. I think the main problems with it are the cost of production and issues of storage.

    Fuel price still rising

The people passing these bills are simply representatives of the people of the state, and follow the will of the people. Apparently the majority of the people want EV supply lines subsidized. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but I don't live there.

    Fuel price still rising

Gas prices go up, gas prices go down, gas prices rarely stay the same. Why get your knickers in a twist? You can pretty much count on the price of gas to go up as spring approaches. No sense whinging.

How much brake fluid is needed to flush the system?

They really do work a treat. You'll like the ease of brake bleeding.

Key or no key that is the question...

FWIW, I have left the key in the ignition on at least three different bikes, two of them for over ten years, one for nearly 20 years, and I have never had an issue with anything interfering with the ignition key working. These are parked inside out of the weather, if I parked it outside I would...

Key or no key that is the question...

Seriously? Who the heck locks their windows and doors?

Key or no key that is the question...

Makes you wonder if a theft claim would be denied if your house doors and/or windows were left unlocked? :) Heck, I'd have to search to find the key to the house. :)

How much brake fluid is needed to flush the system?

I concur with the opinion about vacuum bleeders. I've tried many times to use my MityVac to bleed brakes and it almost always results in sub-optimum bleeding. The bleeder screws just leak too much around the threads. If they sealed then it would be a very useful tool, but they rarely seal, and...

Key or no key that is the question...

Generally the following is true unless your insurance company explicitly states otherwise: "Comprehensive (or Other than Collision) coverage explicitly covers Theft or Larceny, without any “ifs”." OTOH if they prove you left the key in the car as part of a fraud scheme, i.e. have the car stolen...

Key or no key that is the question...

I've also measured and there was no current drain. The only time I ever found any current drain was immediately after shut down, and it makes that humming noise. When the noise stops the current drain stops.

Key or no key that is the question...

Whenever the vehicles are in the garage, the keys are in the ignition. Been doing it that way for 20 years and not going to stop now. I figure if somebody is in the garage, they're in the house. No biggie. Of course I have left the garage door open all night at times, plus left the keys in...

Key or no key that is the question...

Peggy's 2013 STS stays in the ignition any time it's in the garage. Don't have to go locate the key if necessary that way.

Ryker "Down Shifting" while engine braking

Sounds like a dealer to hang on to. Good deal.

    2020 Ryker overheating

If it were anything except the amazingly electronically complicated Spyder/Ryder, I'd think thermostat isn't opening far enough. Won't let the water circulate heat away from the engine fast enough. Works with lower heat generation at lower rpm, but more heat generation overwhelms the cooling...

    Something new from Harley

No. The ad for the Harley "adventure" bike is a prime example of the breed. It shows Jason Mamoa doing some serious off-roading, not just fire roads and broken pavement. But then he could probably pick it up and curl it. :) Check out the video. When we were riding in Spain some years back two...
