• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2018 F3T 16 pin connector pin out diagram (looking for)

Has anyone run across a 2018-2020 F3T 16 pin connector pin out diagram? Basically the big plug under the seat that the BRP trailer harness plugs into... I make my own harness and since we traded my RT that typically pulled the trailer in on a new F3 I need to patch in my trailer harness...

    Wind noise from mic solved

We went the expensive route... all new helmets that have the chin "curtain"/guard... basically a thing that covers the opening between the chin of the helmet and your neck. That blocks the wind very well....

2018 top case amplifier kit question

We have a 2018 F3-T (hers) and will be adding the top case to it. The accessory book and online says that the amplifier kit is needed for 2016-2017... but I'm 99.9% sure the 2018 needs it too... the part number from the 2018 accessory book has the same part number. So, has anyone added it to...

modular Shoei Neotec II with Sena SRL

We both got the Neotech2 and the SRL2...only difference is that the SRL2 was easier to get and the mic has a little thicker part where the mic connects inside the helmet. After a little shaving of the channel that the mic fits in it works great. Love having it all inside the.helmet. our...

    Toyo Proxes question

I had a set of Proxes on my GTO... I found them to be a fairly hard tire and not good on wet pavement. Maybe they made improvements over the last few years, but I won't buy them again.

    F3 Dash

Thought I saw a Lamonster video where they did something like that and called it an F3-ST... Removed link as it was broken... but video was embedded below. Might not be exactly what you are looking to do, but the only thing I have seen...

    curve - blocked wheel

Sounds like the software handles the same problem in a different manner on the newer bikes... same situation with the long drawn out curves in the older 998 bikes will cause it to throw a dps code and go into limp mode.... then I have to stop for minute or two and then can get back under way...

    BRP Connect Music

I just want my darn iPod to play the music and have the joystick control it like it used to do on the pre-BRP Connect bikes...

    998cc DPS Error

The older 998's will throw that error with something as simple as a long sweeping curve as highway speeds. I can reliably replicate the error with mine on several roads out here. Just have to stop, shut it off for a minute or so and the code will clear (still be stored) and then we are.back...

    Has Anyone Connected an IPAD

Same with our iPod... BT just flashes and won't connect. We are on software 10.something though... getting it upgraded on the 11th...

Sorry... F3t (wife's ride)... no topcase...

    1st post.....RT vs F3?

We have 1 of each. Completely different rides. Only thing I dislike on the F3T is that a helmet won't fit in any of the compartments like they will on the RT. I am hoping they get the audio/BRP Connect issues sorted out but you will have the same issues there on any of the new dash bikes...

    BRP Connect issues

Heck, I would be happy if they just made it so the ipod would plug in and work like on our 2011 RT's or better yet just make it so I can plug in a thumb drive...

    Electric Spyders on the way

We started with electric power tools (weed eater, etc) and switched to gas... the batteries just lost too much longevity over time and new batteries were expensive. Plus with a bigger property now, only gas will get the job done. Same thing with vehicles in our area... gas will get the job...

Chances of a plug in electric Spyder...

Once they embed induction chargers in the roads everywhere, then I would be interested in an electric vehicle.... always charging even while moving and no stopping for fuel. Of course the quick stops will have to institute a "facilities" charge to make up for it...

I am looking for the best way to move my RT around

We have the Harbor Freight wheel dollies with the jacking feature... they work very well. They lift each of the wheels up off the ground just enough and with one one each wheel it stays stable. We also have a Sears MC jack and while it will certainly lift the spyder all the way off the ground...

    How's this for confusing?

My 2011 Viper Red RTS has a backrest that says Limited... But only because I upgraded the original "watersports" feel seat to a newer set from a 2014 or 2015...:roflblack: Seriously thougj... that original seat was so squishy it put my legs to sleep... the later year one is a lot more firm...

Hip hurts when I ride my RTL

I wonder if a backrest would help... I didn't see if you had one or not. Depending on posture, the extra back support might help. I don't have one but my wife does on hers... it has helped her quite a bit posture wise...

Hot Right Foot! Muffler/exhaust heat unbearable!

I did JT's air cleaner, cat bypass and the 2014 block off... no heat to speak of anymore... almost wish I had it back on some days/nights when riding in the mountains. ;)
