• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Frunk and saddle. Switch will not operate frunk or saddle

Frunk Never had both, but the other day apparently had something jammed in the frunk. After pushing down several times I managed to get it open. Sounds like the cable on the switch came off or broke. Glad you have the gas door!

PHONE I have my phone between the handlebars on a mount, and have installed a USB port in my left speaker grill. I plug my phone in when riding and it maintains 100% all day long. As a matter of fact, when I was traveling this summer I didn't take a charger along and the phone held the charge...

help with Bluetooth sena 20s & Scala rider freecom 4

Bluetooth Different manufactures don't always work with each other. They must have some special frequency or something, but that's what I have found.

    Sena dilemma

Line of Sight I have used the Cardo's several models, with my last bike, ST1100, none work other than line of sight. Rocks, hills, curves all stop reception. I don't think you will find a communicator that will work other that a CB.

    Seat release tool

Stud I just ground the nub off of the end of the stud. The stud stays there to keep the seat positioned, but doesn't require a pull wire or key cable. Just lift the seat.

    Spyder Codes

Took a trip last week with 3 other guys up to Lake George, for Americade. Stayed in Saratoga Springs and rode up the interstate to the Lake. On our way back, the dreaded Orange Screen appeared and the bike went into Limp Mode. This being the 2nd day of our trip, I was concerned. I thought I...

Extending USB from rear trunk to handle bars

USB It is fairly easy to install a USB outlet in one of the speaker grills. All you have to do is pop the grill off, drill the hole and run a wire to the battery, (With an inline fuse) and you are done. I got the USB outlet on Amazon for not a lot of money. Not sure but I think it was under...

    How cold will you ride?

Cold The coldest I have ever ridden in was from North Carolina to Pennsylvania years ago on a Yamaha 1100 special, with my son on the back. We were coming back from Florida, and when we got up the temp was 15. It stayed 15 the whole way home, and when we got off the bike at home in the...

What about Riders 1st motorcycle being a Spyder?

License Listen, I don't have a problem with everyone getting a license, but requiring the MSF course in my opinion should not be a requirement. If the insurance company wants to give a discount for it , so be it, but to require it is not necessary. When I started riding, you didn't need a...

Got my magic mirror kit today from Lamonster, and installed them in about 15 min. I got the kit with the 4 magnets. When they tell you the magnets are dangerous, believe them.
