• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    HELP NEEDED WITH STEERING ISSUE

My Spyder's DPS was replaced with a new one by the dealer before I brought it home. Mine was a demo, so they replaced the clutch and DPS before handing it over, and I've had zero issues... Just bought sports rack and seat from dealer as well - called them up and they delivered the parts to my...

Thanks guys! Two days in a row, I couldn't park and walk away from the Spyder at my studio without being stopped and asked to fire it back up again for friends to check out!

    So far.... so good...

Bought the used 2008 SM5 with Phantom Kit from a dealer here in TX. They were going to deliver it, but on their way, the steering issue popped up... Sooooo, they put in a brand new DPS and brand new clutch, since they didn't like the way the old one felt... All is well - no issues whatsoever...

    To all my spyder friends

Congrats on your case. Litigation is not fun for anyone involved, even though it's my day job. Luckily though, I'm just there to do the graphics. It's always best to settle if you can. Sometimes, getting your day in court, even if you win, can be a right pain in the a$$... Hope whatever...

Thanks again everyone! Went for a great test drive today! The :spyder2: will be delivered this evening to my house... As for the guitars, only the middle three are mine. The three on either side belong to my fellow bandmates. Not that it is our complete collection - two of us used to be...

Thanks fellas... The 8,000 mile one is a demo, so it's hard not to want to go that route... It's hard to add up the +/- since the Phantom limited has the fog lights, 6 spoked wheels, etc...

I've been lurking the forum for over a year or so... Thanks to all for the posts about the good and the bad... Have to admit it - I'm slightly obsessed with getting my own :spyder2:. Just about ready to purchase - so currently, here's my local options for a Phantom Spyder: 1) 500+ miles for...
