• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Exhaust leak

Holy Smoke! I seem to be accumulating a heck of a list of bolts that need to be tightened after a select amount of miles on the machine. If my old car needed bolts tightened, I would have been walking years ago.

    Theories on CRACKED wheel nuts

Not very knowledgeable when it comes to engineering, but to me it sure seems weird that something like a hub nut would require 221lbs of torque. Just saying. I am not suggesting that the amount of torque would make a difference in stress, just that since we are on the subject, that it seems...

    Problem with Plasti Dip

That looks great. Mine is finished for right now. It looks fairly nice, but does have a bit of a textured finish. It's just too hot and humid here to get a good coat laid down in the many layers needed, while doing it outside. I'll leave it be for right now and then possibly peel it off and...

    Cracked Wheel Nuts

I am no engineer, so my suggestion may be way out. I would think it would be nice to see some sort of closed nut that would cover the whole hub. Kind of an acorn nut? I would think that this would make it a bit stronger AND you would notice the crack more easily, I would think. Maybe this is...

Could I be the 1st? CVT Belt Replacement

Turbo? I must be getting old because I haven't found a road around here that will allow me to go over a 100mph which I can get with my slow-slow Ryker Rally. Ran my Harley up to 100mph once on a toll road in Panama and decided to cross that off my bucket list and slowed down. Never been up to...

    Brake pad replacement

We used to say that the H D in Harley Davidson parts stood for "hundred dollars", because everything Harley branded cost a minimum of a hundred bucks, it seemed.

    My Ryker Fuel Stats

I don't know what I am getting, but it's a lot less than my 1450cc Harley. Either I have a leak, someone is stealing my fuel or I'm getting in the 20's, and I run on eco mode and have less than 300 miles on it. Already filled it up three times, not counting the full tank they gave me when I...

Ryker Pigtail Set up for battery tender

Used a battery tender on my Harley and my last battery was still working after five years. A Walmart battery at that. Only reason I put a new battery in it recently is because it is up for sale now. Battery maintainers will make your battery last longer. Most have a desulfator function.

    2020 Ryker Accessories

You can still use the adjustable handlebars, BUT it comes with the option of doing away with the adjustable function for the "Cafe'" look.

Saddle bags, a work in process

Nice job. Professional looking. How do you get the passenger seat off, or are you planning to leave it on permanently?

    Not a gripe, just saying...

Thank you. Like I said, I love my Ryker. My experience was less than stellar, but I also know that my experience could be an exception. On a side note, my wife has relatives in Australia and one of my bucket list items is riding a cycle around your country. It was to ride a Harley about...

    900 Ryker Loose Front Wheel

I agree, BUT I don't think there are very many folks that own a 250lb torque wrench, unless they have a specific use for it. Just saying. Most folks that own a torque wrench usually settle for one that only goes to about 150lbs. I had to purchase the socket 2 1/2" AND the torque wrench. And...

    Ryker backrest

I have a 75 year old back rest but she won't ride with me all the time. Can't do Sport mode with her anyway.

Or, maybe use one of those OLD wooden milk crates that's varnished and make my Ryker into a woody?

Could I be the 1st? CVT Belt Replacement

After changing the belt, do you also need to reset the warning light? If so, how?

    Not a gripe, just saying...

I like that idea! Of course, I would have to paint that milk crate BLACK to go with my Ryker.

    Not a gripe, just saying...

I certainly hope that this is not indicative of common business practice. I want to utilize the local dealerships and not have to worry about what appears to be either inexperienced employees or blatant lack of good customer service. I have read of good experiences by others on here, so I am...
