• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Sena +Mesh reviews

We have the Sena 20s EVO and they work well to talk to the Navigator on the back seat and tgo answer phone calls and listen to the built-in radio, but I can never get anyone else in our Spyder group to sit still long enough to pair with them Probably don't want to hear my smart ass comments. And...

No More Cat Delete for Me

Ricky, owner/mfger of RLS told me to drill and tap a 1/4-20 hole into the inlet end and use a 1/4-20 bolt to put pressure on the baffle to hold it in position. I also put a nut on the outside to lock the bolt in position.

    Interested in getting a Spyder

My best friend in a Spyder club has a 2 cylinder RT and on rides he has to stop for gas at just a little over 100 miles and our 3 cylinder 1330s can get around 230 miles on a tank of gas. Just wanted to throw that in your considerations. Good luck, and :welcome:.

2017 RT Ltd - Front Frunk - dash doesn't alert me that it's closed all the way?

I might get one of those non-existent switches, I like playing with wiring stuff and while I'm in there put in a REAL trunk light. Thanks for your help.

Code 175 & rough idling - any ideas?

Check the vacuum lines for leaks, spray WD-40 around there while engine is idling, if rpm increase you got bad lines. Even if it has as few miles as yours rubber rots and it is rather old.

    RT mirror backing removal

I might try that if the fenders have the rear lights, I just don't remember ( damn Senior Moments), the ones I just put in the mirrors aren't very bright after all that work getting them in there. I do have some strip LEDs but don't think there are any yellows. I guess reds would work ok.

2017 RT Ltd - Front Frunk - dash doesn't alert me that it's closed all the way?

Can anyone tell me what the THREE wires on that switch are for? And where they go?

What A/mkt Muffler - loud, but not too loud?

I also bought a RLS Cat-Delete Resonator and had Ricky make an elbow for it connect to an Akprovic clone. I and several other Spyder Ryders love it also. Amazon sells the clones for around $50.00. They might not last very long, who knows, but for that price I can buy a new one every year.

Thanks for that info, I save it to my laptop. But how does the actual mirror glass come off to get at those screws?

Anyone tried "Speed Bleeders" brake bleeders?

I ordered a set, but if I can find them I'll check which size I got. It was probably a year ago. I was going to replace the brake fluid soon during this lockdown.

    RT mirror backing removal

Thanks IMR, It's a good thing I waited for this response. How does it come off the mirror? I did get the mirrors apart enough to put in small green arrow lights in the lower corner, it's the only place with enough space for the body of the light. It's just so that I know if the turn signals are...

TPMS for the cost concious rider.

Bending over or squatting down to check tire pressures can be quite hard for some of us old farts with bad knees and bad hearts. For me, squatting isn't too hard but getting back up is a bitch, and bending over with head below my waist then standing up again I almost pass out. While working on...
