• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Loading your Spyder up a steep ramp?

Raise the front of the trailer, either by using the tongue jack or by backing the truck up onto oil change ramps. it's worked for me several times.

Anyone tried the Pedal Commander plug n play Throttle Controller?

Trying to keep up with your sport-touring pals on a Spyder seems to be an effort in futility. When you're riding with them use your Triumph Trophy, that's what it was built for. I ride with a group/club of Harleys and they've been impressed that I can keep up with them in the twisties, but it's...

    Lets Talk Exhausts

I agree, I love the way my Spyder sounds with the "Cat Delete" and the Chinese Akropovic muffler. I had RLS make a 90 degree elbow to connect the "Cat Delete". to the Chinese Akropovic muffler.

I'm back ... from the brink of death Covid 19 see my post in "Off Topic"

I'm almost strong enough to go out to my shop and continue where I left off before my wife called for an ambulance. I was trying to connect up the PowerCommander 5. Was having trouble getting the PC5 to recognize the stock o2 sensor . Instructions seem to say that PC5 will allow stock sensors to...

I'm back ... from the brink of death Covid 19

I went into hospital on Aug.25th, 2020 spent 4 weeks in INTENSIVE CARE on ventilator. Woke up with exploded brain, and couldn't even get out of my bed. It took me a while to remember how to use my phone or even remember where I lived/my address. I lost 60 lbs, Hospital food SUCKS!!! Spent next 3...

    Passenger phone holder and charging

Sure you can, just put a portable charger in with the phone. On our 2015 RT-S there is a hole plug to the rear of the handle. I removed the plug and reamed out the hole and ran a wire from the trunk lighter socket to the new hole and installed a usb port in there and in the trunk, and put a...

    Mileage Issue

My tire sizes are listed below 17psi front, 18psi rear. I enjoy riding my Spyder soo much and I also ride aggressively and I don't care about the gas mileage. However, I've rarely refilled the tank with more than 6 gallons @ around 225 miles ~ 37mpg. :2thumbs:

    Spyder vs Goldwing passenger seating

y wife sleeps back there whether we're riding the Arkansas Twisties or a Missouri Torrential Thunderstorm raining soo much I can't even see the road. I offered to buy her a RT but she said no because she can't sleep while driving it.

    One hot phone

My 2015 RT-S glove box was also very hot until I installed the 2013 model year Vent Scoops. Now I can leave a chocolate bar in there, unless we're stopped and it's in direct sunlight. I don't know if it would fit on a 2020 though. Maybe you should trade in in for a 2019. :dontknow:

    A Real Dilemma

I'll hafta agree that you should RUN. You'll be MUCH happier with a 2014-2017 RT-S or RT-L. You'll spend a lot more time riding it than working on it:banghead: and you don't hafta spend soo much time at 5000 rpm or higher. Newer ones get about 1/3rd better gas mileage.

    Understeering in curves

:agree: This was hard to do at first for me. Kind of like riding off road, if there are two rocks with just enough room between them for the tires LOOK EXACTLY AT THE SPACE, NOT AT EITHER ROCK. Look as far into the curve as you can see. Your brain knows what to do, let it.

    Spyder riding course?

Yep, I learned and taught the instructor that the Nanny really works well when you get the inside wheel off the ground by going too fast on tight turns. He said that he'd never seen anyone wake up the Nanny but I did it twice.:2thumbs: :ohyea: :lecturef_smilie: :yikes:

    Nanny Codes?

Thanks everyone. I bought the Autotune for my PCV and it came with a new o2 sensor so I took off the exhaust pipe just below the collector and drilled a hole for the bung, then took it to the muffler shop to get it welded on. Then it was in wrong place hitting on the engine, So, drilled...
