• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP OPENS A HEADQUARTERS FOR ITS NORTH AMERICAN MARKET IN TEXAS

Hope it's worthwhile Yes hopefully it's a good support hub for all things BRP in the southern U.S. I doubt that the Texas govt will be willing to bail Bombardier out like the Canadian govt has time after time though . So basically if it's not profitable there ... you won't likely see them stay long

    New Owner

2008 GS SM5 here If you have some mechanical knowledge you can do some of your own work BUT.... I suggest you determine if your closest dealer is decent . You should be sure that all of the upgrades and recalls have been done to your Spyder , and if adding brake fluid doesn't solve your problem...

Newbie question: 2008 for starter spyder?

🤔 Most will say the GS and RS are quicker but the triples seem to have more power from cruising speeds , I've only drove one F3 and hard to tell for me . My GS with a Yoshimura pipe and K&N will smoke the tire at will in 1st or second easily with just me on it . They are not as fast as a 750...

Newbie question: 2008 for starter spyder?

Love it My 2008 GS is a great machine . Takes a few hours of different types of roads to get completely used to them but then it's very cool . If you can afford to buy one go for it .... just a short test Ryde won't give you the true experience of the machine , but may make you feel more...

Potential Newbie with some general questions

Depends who you ask To start with ... if you caught on to handling the Spyder right away without wondering why it didn't handle like a 2 wheeler you are ahead of the game . I still have my 2008 GS Premier edition, with all updates done before I bought it 3 years ( and 25,000 km) ago and have...

    Engine Warm-up

Yes QUOTE=billybovine;1306980]Let me guess because you did not say. Maybe your Victory was air cooled. If so then it is logical for Victory to recommend that it it be warmed up or driven at a very low load until warmed up. That is true of air cooled engines. Since the Spyder 998 engine is...

    Las Vegas

Long time to heal A friend of mine from Ontario was there , people got shot all around them . Her boyfriend threw her over a fence just as more were getting hit near them . She is only injured ( bruised ) from going over the fence and he is unhurt ... they are flying back to Toronto as I type...

    Positive press

Good stuff Got a laugh out of one of the commenters on the article site . He basically says these machines are undrivable , flawed platform, twitchy , no power ... engineering needs to start from scratch etc lol ., We all must have missed that in the millions of miles logged by Ryder's on here ? 🤔

CNN video of cop turning Spyder owner away in Florida

Seriously ? I didn't post this to bring conspiracy nut bars out of the woodwork to rant about CNN and Fox News ... and could care less whether you " believe me " or not. It was a clip about people trying to get to their homes on a certain highway or road and were being turned away , I noticed...

CNN video of cop turning Spyder owner away in Florida

I watched a CNN report the other night where a police roadblock was stopping people from getting to their homes after the storm , the clip showed a man on a Spyder arguing with a cop then appears to drive around him .... cop then starts screaming at him to turn around . Just wondered if the...
