• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I bought a new ???? helmet

They're great helmets. I have been using the same helmet for about 6 months. I have been using HJC helmets for years; great price, good fit, etc. --Exco

    Stock bars adjustment

The pin on the bar clamp is preventing me from rotating the bars. It appears that I can either shave off the pin, drill a new hole, or buy a riser kit. I will be going with the riser kit, I do not feel good about shaving off the pin or drilling new holes. Thanks for the help everyone! --Exco

HELP S2S Won’t shift into reverse

My '21 RTL sometimes did this when I first got it. My throttle will sometimes stick, so that the bike is "idling" at around 1300 RPMs. This is something that will be addressed in my first service). If the throttle isn't truly at idle, then no matter how much I push the "R" button or the...

    Stock bars adjustment

Thanks everyone! Good to know. I will work on that as soon as we have a day where it's not raining. I am starting to get webbed feet! Exco

    Stock bars adjustment

Is it possible to rotate the stock handlebars? I am trying to get the bars to come towards me by about half of an inch. For the distance that I want, I don't think the risers are worth the expense. '21 RTL everything is bone stock. Exco

Do you wear boots when riding?

When I was on 2 wheels, I ALWAYS wore boots. Now that I'm on 3, not so much. It is actually hit or miss whether I wear my boots. I know I should wear them, but often wear sneakers because it's easy. I bought a pair of Rocky "Duty" boots a few years ago. I have been please with them, they have...

    Should I be concerned?

Thanks everyone! I will chock it up to a learning experience, and I will be careful when parking in the future. --Exco

    Has anyone used vinyl pinstriping?

I have a local "wrap" shop working up some designs for mine. I wants something that is uniquely MINE, yet doesn't look like I am trying too hard. I have an appointment next week to see what he has come up with. --Exco

    2020 F3-T Speakers

I would think that any speaker that is of the correct size AND is rated for outdoor/ motorcycles should work. You could check out the usual suspects like Crutchfield, Online Car Stereo or your local stereo shop. --Exco

    Should I be concerned?

2021 RTL with about 1500 miles on it. This afternoon I was out of a ride. I stopped for a break, when backing into a parking spot I triggered VSS failure and Limp Home Mode. Fault Codes: C006C, C0051. From what I can gather from previous posts, the first can be triggered by riding the brake (I...

    Preferred "Dash Cam"

Yes, the quality of the video was significantly reduced for upload. YouTube does a hatchet job on the files using some type of compression algorithm! The original quality of the video is better. --Exco

    Adding tire lettering gone bad

You're not the first person that I have heard make a similar comment about tire lettering. Lesson learned, roll on and enjoy. --Exco

2021 SEA TO SKY led floor boards

I will be adding a cheaper option. My "go to" for anything LED has always been Oznium, so I plan on purchasing some of their strip lights to add to the running boards. The only thing that I am waffling on is color. I'm not sure if I want white or amber. --Exco

    Preferred "Dash Cam"

This is the one that I use. I purchased it, like you, because of close calls. I also wanted to document my ride when I did the Tail of the Dragon. It does have the front/ rear. I am not sure about the security feature though. Here are a few clips in action: https://youtu.be/DCgqFRWQ5aE...

    Well, this was a first.....

You must be careful with bear. I have seen a "medium" sized one (probably a couple of hundred pounds) get clipped by a train going 30 MPH, it rolled off in the dirch, shook its head and ran up the hill. That same train destroyed a deer about 8 hrs previously. --Exco

    Learn from my mistake!

I have seen this numerous times as well. The most unfortunate was on the USCG 41 foot boat at 3am when we were responding to a search and rescue alarm. We discovered that the cleat on the boat was better anchored than the one on the pier. The cleat put a hell of a dent in the side of the...

    Learn from my mistake!

I screwed up this morning, fortunately, the bike is fine. My battery tender not so much. I started the bike and backed it out from under the carport, and when I did so, I heard something snap back against the door of the shed. I forgot to unplug the battery tender when I backed up. I cleanly...

Rear Air Suspension on '21 RTL

Is there a way to adjust the amount of air in the rear air shock that the nanny won't promptly correct? I was reading in the "User's Guide" that on the base model RTs, the rear shock's air can be manually adjusted for a softer/ firmer ride. On the RTL, it is all automatic, but it doesn't say...

    Sway Bar End Links

Thanks! I will look into the BR end links. I have not complaints on ride quality/ handling, regardless of the type of road I am on. I am looking to change the end links due to what I have read about the potential of the plastic ones to fail easily/ early. My bike tracks true; I don't know if...
