• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Gear Possiblities

This is the best idea to get more air on the rider/passenger. We have them on both our bikes (2014 RTL's) and love them in both the heat and cold. Not like an A/C but a very noticeable difference.

Towing a trailer, and forces on the coupler..

We have an Escapade trailer that we have towed behind our two spiders with a combined millage of about 30,000 mi. no issues with the coupler at all. Keep the ball lubed and coupler adjusted and all will be fine. Kent

    Seal Rear Tote Rack

Jon, have you "rounded" the corners on your latest versions?

    Seal Rear Tote Rack

I really don't think it will matter what is between the rack and the Painted surface, eventually it will become scratched. The vibration our bikes ( or anything else driving the roads) have and something not bolted/screwed to the surface wil have some slight movement, no matter how tight the...

    Seal Rear Tote Rack

The Rack will not interfere with the third Brake Light, I have one on my bike as well. Kredab, I'm guessing the Suction Cups are about 2" in diameter. I too added a second strut to the top case lid, that way I don't have to worry as much about the lid coming down on the Wife's head while she is...

    Seal Rear Tote Rack

I have one that I bought when he introduced them at the Rod Rocks Rally in Utah. I made some miner changes to mine like rounding the corners, other than that it is an awesome top rack, nice and sturdy. With that being said, I have ware marks on my top case lid where the suction cups ride. It has...

Anyone have seen one of these

I have one of his first. Bought it at the Red Rocks Rally in 2016. I like it and it is very functional, however it will still damage the paint where the suction cups ride. With the vibration and opening and closing the Trunk Lid I have scratches all the way down to the black plastic. Now, with...

How many miles on your current Spyder?

My bike 2014 RTL has 45,000 miles, bought it new Sep. 2014. Still riding and it about 14-18F in the morning.:yes: Kent

    Is my motor TOO cold?!

My commute to work is only 7 miles. It has been in the 20s and colder here when I leave, this morning and all week it's been 14-18. I start the bike, let it isle for about 3-5 minutes and ride to work. The temp gauge does not get to "Normal" range at all. Been riding like this the 3 years I have...

    Rear Brake Caliper

Bike will be going to the dealer, under warranty so they can deal with it. I'll report back with their finding. Thanks all. Kent

    Rear Brake Caliper

Thanks to all the suggestions, but turning the piston isn't the issue, I can turn it all day long, it just doesn't retract into the caliper body? It will be going to the dealer soon and they can deal with it. Guessing something is wrong insde the Caliper. Kent

    Rear Brake Caliper

Haven't used a c-clamp and used inward pressure when turning the piston. On my bike it worked "easy peasy", this bike, something is amiss and I just do not know what? However thanks fir the suggestions, any and all are very much appreciated. Kent

    Rear Brake Caliper

OK, I am helping a friend change the rear brake pads on his 2014 RT, we have the caliper off the bike and start screwing the piston into the body by turning it clockwise to compress the piston, only the piston just spins it doesn't screw into the body! We turned the piston at least 50 full...

    Trailer for my Spyder

I have to travel from Santa Fe, NM to purchase this trailer as I cannot find one here for this price, every dealer here is asking $700-$800 more! I cannot find a decent used one that doesn't need the wood replaced or are otherwise beat up and they still want $600-$700. Tie downs aren't my...

Does anyone have any experience with a Lamar Tilt-Deck trailer and specifically can you load your spyder onto it? Link has pictures towards bottom of page. Thanks, Kent. http://tbtrailersales.com/utility-trailers/?inventory_id=280
