• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Hartco/Diamond seats

Had a Diamond on my wing and it was very good. The only one I like better is Russell.

    Rotella T6 full synthetic 5-40

Oh boy another oil thread. If you use an oil no matter what brand that meets the specs for your engine and change it on a regular schedule You will Not have an oil related failure. My personal favorites are Delo 400 and Rotella. Cheap and available anywhere.

    towing 3 wheels down

Setting the toe in with the laser will be the same but I'll bet there is more than a little negative camber. Negative camber will stick good in the corners but raise hell on tire wear. That much change in ride height can't be good for suspension parts. just another opinion.

    towing 3 wheels down

The transmission needs engine oil pressure for proper lubrication. Get a trailer.

    Question about Corbin Seats

Corbin makes a pretty good seat but if your butt isn't a match for the seat you are in for a uncomfortable ride. The seat breaks you in instead of the other way around. I'm a big fan of Russell and have had five of them. There are lots of off the shelf seats but nothing beats a truely custom...

    Belt alignment HELP.

Tension yes but alignment no. The alignment doesn't change with suspension travel.

    New Hitch - FJRay

It would cantilever the weight out a bit but the main reason for wanting it was to be able to remove it when not in use for a little cleaner looking installation like you see on lots of goldwings. There just wasn't enough working room between the tire and fender to hide it. It will be nice when...

    I HATE SNOW

I've been dealing with disc issues c-3 thru c-7 since 92. The thing that helps me the most is physical therapy and traction daily. Keep moving cause motion is the lotion and **** happens so go fast and stay ahead of it.

    Reuben Run RTE #6

This isn't a Spyder specific event but if you like good food and folks the best Reuben to be had is here in central Oregon. This will be the sixth year for this event. We usually have 40-50 bikes and riders. All makes are invited except for idiots. There are usually 3-4 Spyders in the group The...

    New Hitch - FJRay

Like anything it looks easier than it is. If I were to build another one I don't think it would take near as long and probably would not use tube. I remains to be seen if there as adequate suspension clearence . The tape measuse says it should clear but to be sure I need some full load test...

    Bleeding question

I've got nothing but snow and ice as far as the eye can see. It will be a couple months before I can test it. I did start it and go the length of my shop a couple times and it still stops so I didn't totally screw it up.:D The shop is about 50' long.

    Bleeding question

Just finished up. Hard to believe that stuff was only two years old. Came out damn near black. I flushed a couple bottles of fresh through it. Still need to do My hand brake but it's only a year old so I'll wait until the next oil change while the plastic is off that side.

    Bleeding question

I'm thinking while the tricycle is on the lift, I might as well flush the brakes. Reading the manual it says front calipers, rear caliper and the VCM. It also says the budds needs to be used. What is the VCM and why can't it be bled like other bikes with ABS??. I've bled tons of brakes but...
