• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    pulling a tow behind trailer

The speed isn't really an issue unless you get busted for speeding. Keep in mind that you need a fair bit more stopping room and on downhill turns it will push a bit.

I've been using the slime pump for years. I have yet to have it fail.

    Let’s shoot some cannons

Great fun. There used to be a big meet near me but it got moved elsewhere. I've got three of my own that get regular use. My big one is a mortar that shoots bowling balls.

As long as it is a DOT approved tire there is no problem.

My wife never liked a back rest on any of our bikes. It seemed to always be in the way.

Lots of choices on cleaning. For heavy dirt I use car wash soap and a leaf blower. For general cleaning and detailing I use Pledge and a micro fiber towel. As you know for comfort Nothing beats RDL for a seat. IMHO

To change oil or not to change oil

If you an oil of the proper viscosity and specifications for your engine and change it on a regular schedule not to exceed the factory recommendation you will never have an oil related failure. I use Delo 400 in all my engines 2, 3 or 4 wheels. Gain as much info as you can and decied what works...

    Hope you're all happy now!

Not trying to be a pain here but you're saying that we couldn't understand the data if it were made available. Why not make it available and see if we can understand it??? I believe in Trust but VERIFY. I don't believe in running higher than necessary pressures nor do I believe that low...

    Hope you're all happy now!

Sorry for my part in this cluster#$%& but when treated like nobody else has a valid opinion it's natural to respond in kind. This forum is full of good info but it is the internet and no one opinion right or wrong regardless of who posts it. It would be a good idea if all the perpetrators...

    Tires General Altimax Opservation

You're right it is a great point. Nobody has said to run max pressure but rather an appropriate pressure for the load. By saying I would end up getting hurt testing high pressures shows perhaps you're not quite the expert you would have us believe.

    Tires General Altimax Opservation

I don't see why the data isn't applicable. We are talking a car tire on a car wheel operating on the same roads . The Spyder suspension is more automotive than motorcycle. It possible to have the same load on the rear wheel of a Spyder as one corner of a 3600 pound car . The cornering force...

Once again you are WRONG. reading comprehension is important and understanding the context. MY Testimony like yours was and is always correct. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::thumbup:The lawyers idea is the one that may be flawed.

    Tires General Altimax Opservation

Once again you are RIGHT. People are looking for factual proof that running a tire regardless of application at close to full load with less than half of the pressure recommended by the engineers is a good idea. It doesn't matter what the tire is or what it's being used for, it needs to operate...

    Tires General Altimax Opservation

Boy this is great afternoon entertainment. It would be nice if we had some actual hard facts rather than speculation and opinion. Just what is the weight bias on a Spyder?? What is the real curb weight ready to roll?? What is the weight rating for the tire in question?? As near as I can...

    SENA 20s???

I had the 10's and then upgraded to the 20. Nothing but trouble with the 20 and finally got warranty replacement from SENA. The second set works OK but only when it's in the mood. Is usually takes multiple tries to get music and intercom working. I've paired my phone to the gps and it says its...

    Anyone use Hydro Silex?

I switched from Pledge to the Johnson brand. Does the same job and smells the same. Half the money of Pledge at Wally world. I've used Pledge on my bikes and customer's bikes for over 20 years and haven't found much that works any better.:D
