• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Handicap Placards - What is the actual benefit?

There are some stores I will not shop in because of the difficulty in getting around. WalMart is an example. If there is no electric cart available, I will leave the store. Same with Publix, Kroger, Lowe’s, etc. I have a hard enough time getting from the sometimes inconveniently placed handicaps...

Where are the Can Am Spyder Dealerships

Why have a Spyder if you don't intend to use it. You have one of the greatest touring machines ever made and you don't want to explore the country? The western USA awaits, my man.

    blue ridge parkway

We have done the entire BlueRidge/Shenandoah twice but the road has deteriorated since then. I don't think Biden's infrastructure plan will be in place in time to fix these things by June. Take care and plan to average 35 mph. I would also skip the Dragon (overrated) and take the Chereohala...

Thinking of switching to 3 wheels from 2...not a Spyder owner...yet

Brian: Here is an old post that I recently put back up on the board. It may be helpful. I would suggest the 1330 motor sine you would be coming from a low revving GL. Default Two wheels to three Back in the early days of this site, a member posted a response to some comments about the...

    Review: Two wheels to three

Back in the early days of this site, a member posted a response to some comments about the differences between steering on two wheels versus three. I ran across it while reading some old posts and thought it was worth reposting. Here it is....." Originally Posted by MarkLawson View Post The...

2020 RT limited Comfort Heated Seat

We ordered the comfort heated seat on my wife’s 2020 RT earlier this year. She found it to be quite uncomfortable due to the riding position that put her too far back and provided no support from the RT factory back rest. She is 5’-7” and felt more support all round on the standard seat.

2020 RT - anyone had success using iPod hook up?

We're using an ipod and a sandisc player (separately) plugged into both the headset and the USB port. The iPod will not connect. The sandisc will play through the Spyder but not without a data blocker between the power cord on the sandisc player and the USB port in the glove box but that just...

2020 RT - anyone had success using iPod hook up?

Has anyone successfully hooked up an iPod to their sound system on a 2020 RT? I have tried various MP 3 players but reverted to an old iPod Nano in desperation. I just want to get music through the Spyders speakers... no headset, no Bluetooth just straight through sound. Help appreciated...

    Simple music problem on RT

This may be too simple to solve but my wife wants her music on her 2020 RT. We have gone through two MP 3 players and have yet to be successful. First off, She does not want to use her iPhone for music. I know we can pair the phone and link it to the bike with Bluetooth but she uses her phone as...

    2020 RT Limited first service

Sounds like a good deal to me. If $120. of that amount was for parts and tax, that means labor was around $350, or less than $110 an hour for three hours of work. Labor rates around Atlanta are in the $180-$200 per hour range at better dealers who employ techs with the skills needed to work on...

Is there a Frunk Open warning light?

Unlike the new Corvette the frunk lid is pretty secure but on her way home from shopping yesterday a panic stop caused the frunk lid to pop up, when some of the contents shifted and put pressure on the unlocked lid. At least that is my interpretation of what happened. I think she overloaded the...

Is there a Frunk Open warning light?

Probably a dumb question. My wife’s 2020 RTL displays a warning light when the rear storage compartment is unlatched. There does not appear to be a similar warning light for the frunk. Is this normal or is something not working correctly on her Spyder? Pennyrick

    I have a pleasant problem

I am twice your age and still long for the power of my ‘99 Valkyrie or my ‘02 GL 1800. Despite that I know I made the correct decision when I opted to move to three wheels back in 2011. That could be why I am still here. Pennyrick

    2020 Spyder RT Petrol Blue

In 2010 my wife bought her first Spyder. It was Orbital blue which was a deep, royal blue. This year she bought a Petrol blue Spyder that only reveals it’s true color in bright sunlight. It reflects the light showing the greenish tinge under the blue, giving it a teal color that is quite a...
