• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Why isnt' the Spyder more popular!

TV Adds Big F, I must not watch the right TV channels, or not at the right times. I still haven't seen any of the Spyder adds. You and several other posters have seen the adds, so they are out there, if you happen to have the tube on at the right time.

Why isnt' the Spyder more popular!

Advertising? When was the last time you saw a Spyder commercial on TV? Hear on radio? Read in the local paper? It doesn't appear as though BRP is very active in it's marketing.

    Missed that rumble

Clean roads? We received about an inch of rain today, so that should pretty much clean the salt off of our roadways, but there is still lots of small stones, as well as pot holes. Care will be needed to keep the ride smooth!

    Tire Air Pressure

Proper air pressure Once you get the air pressure to where it should be you should find a lot of improvement. What are you setting the pressure at on your Spyder? My dealer said 20 in front and 25 in rear, although I am going to elevate the rear to around 28, per input from this great forum...

    Tire Air Pressure

I know there was just another post the other day on tire pressure, but I thought I would raise this issue again. I just took my Spyder out of winter storage yesterday. I checked the air pressure and the front tires were 14.5 (R) and 16.5 (L). The rear tire was 23.5. I had a terrible time...

    battery problem

Charging with Tender Mine must be the exception then. Several years ago on my Harley bagger, I parked the bike in the garage and left the radio on. I found out 3 days later when I went to take a ride. It was totally dead. So I put it on the Battery Tender for 24 hrs. and the battery...
