• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My Altimax experience.

Well, 1.3 bar is 19 psi, which is right in there with the tire pressures I'm reading about for car tires.

    My Altimax experience.

Piratezz, I didn't realize folks were using TPs that low. I'll certainly pay attention and be willing to lower mine if I see excessive center wear, this tells me there should be no harm in going several pounds lower. Regards, PatrickH

    My Altimax experience.

Hello NavyDad, Just wanted to check back in with you to tell about my experience w/Altimax that I installed on my 2014 RT in December 2021 with your message help and advice. I've been delighted with the performance (and, as you'd predicted, am even getting speedometer readings that are much...

Website www.ourfee.com - any body have experience with them?

I know. The ourfee.com was advertizing the 2 units I referenced at $99.00 each. I wanted to either learn I was missing out on a good deal, or else to warn fellow Spyderlovers about a likely bad actor on the web.

Website www.ourfee.com - any body have experience with them?

To anybody on the forum: I've been searching the web for best prices on a Garmin Zumo 396 or Zumo XT GPS. I've gotten a pretty good feel for what I think the market is offering those good units for. Then, this afternoon, I got search engine hits on a site WWW.OURFECOM. They are offering...

HowTo: install frunk liner on 2020+ RT base/standard

Hello Monk, At the beginning of your writeup when you mentioned the needed tools, you mentioned a "push pin puller tool." I just finished watching a good YouTube by John & Miriam's Vlog about doing a 28,000 mile maintenance and he used such a tool many times. I'd never seen one and while I was...

    HMC filter

Hello JayBros, When you replace HCM filter, 1) do you need to use gasket sealer when you install the replacement cover-filter assembly? and 2) do you know what torque to use on the HCM bolts? Semper Fi, PatrickH

Anyone changed their 1330 trans filter yet?

Hello AeroPilot, You posting abt using a cross-pattern when tightening the SE6 transmission filter module-to-engine case reminded me that I don't even know what that torque is supposed to be. Do you know, by any chance? Regards, PatrickH

Anyone changed their 1330 trans filter yet?

Hello PW, I'm about to replace my transmission filter. When you do a 1330 transmission filter replacement, is the gasket alone adequate to seal the cover plate against leaks? Or do I need to get some gasket sealer before I replace mine? Regards, PatrickH

Will the newer RT's still accept the '14 luggage?

I can't say from personal experience, but from what I saw while researching the question, it appears that the RT luggage remained unchanged till about 2019 (maybe + or - a year), but then changed significantly with the 2020 or the 2021.

    Canister-Ectomy - 2008-2016 SM5/SE5

Hello BlueKnight911, I found your Gas Smell Fix photo. Thanks for posting it. I'm trying to figure out how to do this procedure to my 1330cc 2014 RT LTD. What year/model bike is your Gas Smell Photo? Looking at my service manual, it appears to me as though I'd have to remove the seat, the...

    Canister-Ectomy - 2008-2016 SM5/SE5

Ron, Thanks for the speedy reply. I just went out to my bike, took a photo of the fill tube, drew a circle around the slot I think you're talking about, and attached it here. Is this what you're talking about? Is that where to drill the 1/4" hole (or would a pair, side-by-side be best?)...

    Canister-Ectomy - 2008-2016 SM5/SE5

Hello Ron, when you say "If you drill a hole at into the top of the metal inlet, you can fill that last amount faster.", where are you talking about drilling? Is it in the neck just below the threads for the gas cap? Or is it IN the threads? I really like how you're talking about getting this...

Ron, when you say " If you drill a hole at into the top of the metal inlet, you can fill that last amount faster. " where, exactly are you talking about drilling? Where you screw in the fill cap? If YES, where in that area? In the threaded portion? PatrickH
