• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Making the 2013 Spyder RT-S "Perfect"

The Lamonster Garage and Pitbull Powersports are essentially right next to each other. Pitbull's service section will be moving to Lamonster Garage so Pitbull can expand their showroom. When Len opened Pitbull early last year, it was understandably with some trepidation and a rightful decision...

    Tires

Here's my OEM Kenda rear tire after 3000 miles. It's down to the wear bars in the middle. Apparently, spirited riding on Ozark Mountain back roads takes its toll pretty fast. I've got a Kumho Ecsta AST on order.

    600 mile first service cost

So, I'm going to vent a little bit here. Until today, this post was almost 3 years old. At that point, don't you think it's better to start a new post rather than resurrect a 3 year old post??

I feel like my 2012 RT is now obsolete

With today's rate of technology change, it doesn't matter what you buy, in a couple of years it will be obsolete. Unless a new Spyder is going to give you 100 MPG, gas mileage isn't going to pay for a new 2014. Having a fuel tank that will take you 200 miles doesn't matter when you ride with...

    OIL CHANGE INFO WANTED

You are correct in that the oil itself does not wear out. However, the additive package gets exhausted. Part of the additive package is what creates a multi-viscosity oil. Take a 5W-40 oil. It begins with a base oil, usually something in a 30 weight range. Then they add molecules that expand...

    A Matter Of Etiquette

Know What Frosts Me? Is when one sponsor steps on another sponsor's post. For example, a member asks about a farkle and a sponsor replies that they have the product the member is seeking. Then another sponsor, who doesn't provide that kind of farkle recommends a different sponsor or...

    another ride report vertika vents

Not sure why you would say this. The only thing trailer mode does is not let you upshift unless the resulting drop in RPMs is above the clutch lockup minimum RPM. Plus, it will automatically downshift when the RPMs drop below the clutch lockup. These are things you should be doing anyway.
