• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question about covers while trailering your Spyder and traveling

I've trailered my RT Ltd from New Jersey to Maggie Valley and back on an open trailer at speeds up to 70 mph with no problem using the Can Am trailering cover. It has a flannel lining and tie down straps to hold it in place. I also have a brand new trailering cover that has never been opened...

    Stolen Bike Insurance Settlement

Just received a phone call from the insurance company and I accepted their settlement of $26,347.45 after a $500 deductible for my 2011 RT Ltd. Amazing but it only took two weeks for the insurance company to come up with the figure. Would recommend Foremost Insurance through AARP to anyone...

Not to adept at adding pictures but here is a shot of my SSR and what was my Spyder. Looking forward to taking the SSR to a rally in Cape Cod this October. Now it's wait and see how the insurance company will handle the loss of my Spyder. Thanks everyone for your concern.

Appreciate everyone's concern over the theft. I do have good insurance and I'm sure they will cover everything it's just going to be extra time being they have to contact Canadian police. The officer that took the report was very cordial and concerned. I don't wish anyone any harm - don't...

    Unhappy Spyderlover

The key was in an IPS and was left in the bike, apparently whoever took it was familiar with the IPS and also the sequence necessary for starting the Spyder. Never thought to take the key out being it was locked in an enclosed trailer. But I guess if someone really wants to steal something...

Murphy - have you managed to kill all the weeds? Have you given any thought to the possibility of writing a book about all you adventures across the United States and Canada on a Spyder? I'm sure it would be very entertaining.
