• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    V-twin semi-auto vs. triple semi-auto

I owned a 2013 RT SE5, I didn't know anything about spyders when I bought it. After joining this forum and meeting other spyder owners I learned about the differences between the 998 and the 1330. The more I learned the more I wanted to get one, last summer I got a 2015 RTS SE6. I put 25K miles...

Sea Doo parts - are the oil filters the same?

I have 2 non spyder CanAm dealers close by, when I mention that I'm trying to cross reference a part to fit my spyder they suddenly forget how to operate a computer and reassure me that there is nothing they can do.

    The dreaded leaking air bag!!!!

I called it a solenoid valve but it is in fact the manifold. The part with the wires coming out of it can be separated from the manifold to gain access and clean it. I wiped mine out with a Q tip and blew it out with air, there was crud in there. The air line that comes out of the check valve...

    The dreaded leaking air bag!!!!

I cleaned my check valve but that wasn't my problem. It ended up being the solenoid valve. They are both accessible from the same side. I took the valve apart and cleaned it now all is well.

    Anybody use this Motorcycle lift?

I have the Craftsman which is basically twin to the HF that you're looking at. It fits under the spyder without having to drive up on 2x's beforehand. Good choice for the money.

Hot tip - how I test the ACS air hose fittings!

If it's the base RT then you wouldn't have a check valve in the system, but if you have a model with Automatically Controlled Suspension then you do. The check valve gets dirty and can be removed and cleaned most times.

Hot tip - how I test the ACS air hose fittings!

Next time you're in harbor freight pick up one of these blow guns. I didn't know this beforehand but the tube is 1/4 inch o.d. and slips right into the pushlock ftg's so you can easily test the ACS check valve before and after you clean it.

2020 RT swaybar installed, possible oil leak found

Joel, when I brought my 2013 home from the dealer the tire pressures were way off, front lugnut torques were way off, the airbag was leaking down overnite and they didn't give me enough gas to ride 1 hr home. You'll have all the bugs shook out soon.

Air ride bladder losing air pressure - help?

I don't like the pushlock air fittings that they use on the suspension bits. I had a 2013 RT that I bought brand new and the suspension leaked down overnight. I took the air bag out and dunked it underwater, the leak was in the 90 degree pushlock fitting at the top of the bag. I replaced it with...

Looking at a Used 2014 RT Limited - is it worth it?

It wouldn't be for me. I got my 2015 RTS last summer for 14,000 with 6000 mi on it. I think you can find a newer one for that price or get him down to 13k.
