• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Cant open front trunk

Hello, I had this happen to me as well. The problem turned out to be the cable itself. It had stretched enough so that it would not disengage the latch. I had to manually push the latch under the frunk lid with a flexible plastic rod.

2009 RS exhaust and efi controller

Hello! It looks like Torquehound has upgraded to an F3T. I still have my 2010 RS, however, I have since changed my setup. To answer your question, the K&N filter placed inside the stock airbox worked quite well for me. If you are planning on doing something like what was discussed in previous...

HELP! 2008 GS SM5 Starter not turning over despite excellent battery voltage

Hello, I'll add my two cents worth. If you haven't already, check the fuses under the frunk lid and the seat. For the fuses under the seat, look at fuse #5. It is a 10 amp fuse that controls the starter solenoid amongst other things. Pull it out and check it with an ohm meter if you are able...

    Rough idle

Use silicon tubing when replacing the vacuum lines on the throttle body. The length of each hose is critical. Make sure the replacement tubing is the exact length of the original. The tubing must have an internal diameter of 3mm. I think Napa sells the tubing under part number H466. Best of...

    Rough idle

rough idle I have a 2010 RS SE5. First, if I am wrong about my advice someone please correct me. It sounds like it could be the vacuum lines on the left side of the throttle body. The best way to check them is to flex the hose and look for cracking as it flexes. Since you have had plugs and...

    backfiring increasing....pls help.

When the gaskets failed on my spyder, I remember it progressing from a pop here and there to quite often within a short time, say about 4 or 5 weeks while riding it every day in cooler weather. When I removed mine, one of the gaskets was almost completely gone, like it disintegrated into dust...

    backfiring increasing....pls help.

Someone, please correct me if I am wrong (been a while since I did mine). Check the exhaust gaskets that connect the header pipes to the muffler. Look under the bike on the right-hand side to see where the y-pipe joins the muffler. The factory gaskets usually give out between 8k to 10k miles or...

    HURRICANE HARVEY

Harvey We have sunshine finally poking through the clouds! The amount of water all around is simply overwhelming. Our street flooded at least 4 times, each time coming with six feet of the front door. We got lucky: No water in our house, and we never lost power during the storm. I find myself...

ignition will not turn with key in any direction

oil in key cylinder I would like to add just a bit of info regarding oil on the key. I work at a hardware store and have learned not to use any oil in a key cylinder. Instead, use powdered graphite (or spray graphite), TriFlow or similar type of lubricant. I think LPS makes a lock lubricant as...
