• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Torque axle vs Torque nut

If you use the adapter at right angles from above the axle you will be pushing the axle forward when u tighten it and taking the slack out of the adjuster.

    Torque axle vs Torque nut

There are Android phone apps(Torque Wrench is the name) to calculate the new torque applied at the wrench when an extension is used. Maybe apple has them too.

Tying Spyder onto a trailer without damage??

What concerns me is that the eye nut material is probably not the same grade, tensile strength, etc, as the nut it replaces thereby introducing another safety variable into one's life.

    The Spouse...[Seeking Riding Experience Info]

I am guessing that you have still got snow on the ground in Syracuse NY an even though the streets are clear and probably covered in a fine salt dust like we would have further north. These bikes don't have any under coating and exposure to this salt dust or spray will cause early corrosion on...

jack position to remove front wheels

Do not lube, oil or grease, or use NeverSeize on any nut where the instructions don't call for it. These products reduce the torque required to get the proper bolt tension and torquing to the nominal level will stress the bolt beyond its working limits. This can lead to bolt failure...

    Can-Am's position on tires

What does your insurance company think about the unauthorized use of a car tire on a motorcycle? I'm pretty sure no one dares to ask the question of their lawyers. Are you betting everything you own and will ever own on them overlooking this loop hole to avoid paying out in the event of a mishap?

    BRP BUDS Black Friday Sale

The BUDS system is necessary to carry out such mundane things as bleeding the brakes and the recommended and necessary brake fluid change every 2 years tasks which were readily doable in the past. These are not repairs but are maintenance tasks and we should be able to do them without being...

New way to transport my Kayak

This is a nice looking setup but I got a few of questions about it. 1. What is the model of the trailer or is it DIY. 2. What is the weight being applied to the hitch? 3. Is that a mount for a trolling motor? Thanks in advance for the info.

    Bleeding/flushing brake fluid.

I have used a vacuum generator. Works with my air compressor. Works really well. Be careful not to drain the reservoir. Have used Speed Bleeders as well. Great product.

Interesting resolution to the Parking Brake issue

These electric brakes are a unnecessary farkle. They should be mechanical and save us all a lot of trouble. Some down market bikes had mechanical ones but I don't know if they will fit.

    Bad Motor - 2012 RTL

Find out why they want to scrap the motor. If your thinking of doing it yourself, look for a used engine on Ebay to get an of the cost of an engine swap. Buy a shop manual to get an idea of the level of effort required. If your going to fix it buy a shop manual and see if you can do it and...
