• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear Tire - What is the Best Option

I'm going to try the Kumho and see how it goes. I'm also going to see if extreme propulsion in Cartersville will mount it for me...MMM Kennesaw said $128, but I don't like them as much as EP.

Rear Tire - What is the Best Option

Great advice...my dealer said he would, as I specifically asked him the question, "if I bring you a tire, will you mount and install it?" We'll see if he does???

Rear Tire - What is the Best Option

Love this community for the great knowledge, great comments and most certainly the great help that everyone gives on a short notice. My options are tilting towards the Kuhmo...great looking tire, I can get the OEM size, tread looks cool (nothing to do with anything, lol), and price is about...

Rear Tire - What is the Best Option

All, If I do a search on this site, there are numerous threads on replacing the rear tire...so in order to narrow down my search, and give everyone a chance to voice their opinion again but directed to me, I thought I'd throw out the almighty question and get to the point: I'm needing to...

    spyderpops beltguard ?

I would think so... That swing arm most likely stayed the same, but do a dry install and see if it fits. I too have purchased one a couple years back and have not installed it. Maybe the spirit will move me.

    No Hitch Required

I see that being a good use for a nice yeti cooler, filled with food and "drink" when exploring. Sure, you can also pack clothes in a plastic bag and place in the cooler... Nothing says you have to have warm clothes lol. JT, just love your creativity and your products.

    F3 Limited Good for Touring?

Sorry for misleading you on the ultimate seat comment...I just assumed that ultimate made one for the F3! Guess not, but they are usually patrolling the SL site, so they'll probably read this and say wtf, we are losing some business!!! Good luck with your F3... I'll sit back and enjoy my RT

    F3 Limited Good for Touring?

I'll throw my 2 cents in... The F3 will probably be the best option at 6'-7". The RT even with the comfort or tall boy seat options only give you a little more room. I'm 6'-1" and have the tall boy by Ultimate Seats, along with the highway pegs on my RT-S SM6 and have just enough room not to...

    Passenger armrests

To my knowledge most of the passenger armrests are swing-out style to help assist in the passenger being able get in and get out easier. The only one that I've seen that is fixed to the back rest is by Corbin. Show Chrome makes a really nice, secure, swing style if you think the Corbin is too...

    Why Spyders need VSS

Cool...lawn darts were so much fun. The unfortunate part is, when you are holding onto handlebars, one thrown off tends to keep hands planted and cannot overcome the force and therefore your hands are kept close to your body and you do a "header" into the lawn, pavement, whatever. Classic...

    FBB orNBV highway pegs

If you have a manual transmission, like I do, you have to go with the NBV ones. They do the job and fairly easy to install. Good luck!

Atlanta Spyder Riders in Tellico Plains TN.

JW, another great editing job. Emmi (11) and I had a great time out there. Glad I could add some dialogue in the video, haha.

Not too happy with my F3

When someone says things like that, that really don't matter at the given time (like mentioning the cost when it really doesn't matter because you're so pissed)...Offer him up a cookie, but saying "OK, do you want a cookie?" ..:roflblack:

Summer Jacket Thoughts and Other Gear

Crazy, but a lot of wind noise comes from under the helmet. If you find a tight fitting neck roll, cheek pads, and a chin curtain, like my Shoei or Schuberth, or icon airmada, you'll find them a lot quieter. Or just invest in a multi pack of ear plugs and use when on the interstate, or if...

Summer Jacket Thoughts and Other Gear

My Thoughts So my questions: Do you prefer the chopped or touring cut of the jacket for a spyder? ICON ANTHEM in white - full mesh jacket, but a full size (not chopped or touring style) - Mesh in the summer and anything else in the winter. What about jackets with the smaller back protectors...

So you put a backrest on bike and seat wont stay up for refueling.....

Received the replacement from Lift Supports Depot - SE180P35, an exact fit, installed in seconds and is very sturdy. Although it didn't "pop" the seat up immediately upon turning the key, a little movement by my hand was needed to get the seat to lift (most likely an adjustment needed on the...
