• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any pics of Cutting a windshield? How is it done?

Cutting screen on the Spyder. Agree with Ricz. Almost identical to the method I just used to cut my F4 Customs tall screen on my F3S. Tape both sides, create the cut line as described, cut with jig saw and sand to perfect the curve. Cutting with the screen on the bike, with a jig saw, the cut...

How can I make my 2015 f3s more visible from the back?

Looks like I wasn't clear the link was to a video, not a photo. When I posted, I was afraid Google Photos wouldn't allow sharing with "anyone with the link". I tried to upload via Manage Attachments, but file was too big, even for a 2 second MP4 reduced to "Computer Size" via Movie Maker, plus...

How can I make my 2015 f3s more visible from the back?

With luggage and Admore lighting If you're using luggage, here is my Shad side case and Givi V46 topcase setup on my F3S demonstrating with the emergency lights active. Brake lights for the Admore cases have a blinking option. All come on with the brakes active. Note the angled LED strips on...

    Frustration - rant

Enjoying the whole thread. Good discussion. The Facebook forums comment is spot on. I’ve been on Spyderlovers forum since about 2011, but was mostly inactive until the middle of last year, when circumstances allowed me to purchase a Spyder. After purchase, I joined several of the FB groups, and...

5 people and 24 tacos got 'er done

My "new" F3S came with an almost new stock rear, so it will be awhile before replacemen is needed. I've seen the mention of the rims being an automotive J type before, but is there a "J" stamp or other tell on the rim that would validate that claim to a tire store? Just installed Yokohana Avid...

AdMore LED lighting kit for Givi bag on F3-S -- wiring help needed

Two subjects here. First, the wiring switch I had to make. The original Admore kit was for the Givi V46 Topbox. It had been installed several years ago on my Honda NT700 and I set it up on the F3S, with the Baker rack. The Admore kit wired to the V46 was a slightly older model with different...

Any ideas on Ignition switch panel removal? F3T

Ignition switch panel blank plug on the right? For my 2015 F3S, I'd like to put in a 1" round USB/voltmeter in place of the right side ignition panel plug. On removing the panel I found there is a 4 wire connector plugged into the back of the plug. It's used as a blanking plug for the...

AdMore LED lighting kit for Givi bag on F3-S -- wiring help needed

Moving a Givi top case with an Admore lighting kit to your F3 For anyone who tries this, and you have a 5-wire Admore harness, instead of 6, you'll likely have an issue like I did.. After no response from the forum, I contacted Admore last Saturday, and they emailed me early this morning...

AdMore LED lighting kit for Givi bag on F3-S -- wiring help needed

I'm dredging up Pete's thread. Wondered if anyone, since Pete had, successfully migrated an Admore equipped Givi Top case from another bike to their F3-S. I've had the Givi V46 and Admore's LEDV46-T-TS (CG) LIGHT KIT mounted to my Honda NT700 for several years and the Admore kit lights all...

    Share your mouse repellent ideas

So how often do you change the Bounce sheets? I have a garage full of motorcycles that I use traps in. I also keep the seats off of all the bikes. That keeps the little buggers at bay, but the Spyder F3 would probably benefit from also adding Bounce sheets, if not ridden for more than a few days.

For newbies.. How to find the frame stamped VIN on your "new" 1330cc Spyder

Luckily, here in Cali we have privately owned DMV services that are licensed to deal with the DMV. Most are owned by ex-DMV employees and know all the rules, regs and how to deal with the DMV employees, who typically do not. Barb’s Auto Registration is my go to expert and has helped me for...

For newbies.. How to find the frame stamped VIN on your "new" 1330cc Spyder

Deanna, Finding a record of the VIN on the swing arm and documents is easy, and not the point. To retitle a Spyder in California, and some other states, the DMV representative is REQUIRED to verify that the VIN stamped on the frame matches the one shown on the seller's title. They must fill out...

Hub hole size on rear wheels?

I actually have one of these, but didn't think it would accomodate that large and heavy of a wheel. Have you actually used it for your rear wheel? If it fits safely, I'd definitely give it a try.

For newbies.. How to find the frame stamped VIN on your "new" 1330cc Spyder

So you just bought your new (to you) dream Spyder and need to title it in California, or another state that requires verification of both the VIN number stamped into the frame AND the swing arm VIN label, or possibly just the frame VIN to be verified, along with the engine ID. I was finally...

Hub hole size on rear wheels?

Thanks for the responses. I was expecting the 1.5” to be too large. The Mark Parnes system looks like a good solution for me. Pretty affordable and I have two single sided swingarm Honda’s it should work well on. He also has an upgrade for the Harbor Freight balancer I use on some of my vintage...

Hub hole size on rear wheels?

I've just taken the front wheels from my "new" 2015 F3S in for a tire change to Yokohama 175/55s, and balance. In looking online for Ride On, as a supplement, I've come across portable bubble balancers on Amazon, that all accept a hub hole size down to 1.5". I'm wondering if the smaller rear...

    Tire pressure recommendations

I had an order in at Tire Rack for the same Contis, but the shipment they expected didn’t arrive after 10 days, and then became ETA unknown. Changed to Yokohama Avids which were the only tire in the 165/60 or 175/55 range for the F3 available. They’ve been strongly recommended by one or more...
