• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2012 RT Limited wont start after replacing battery U0300 Code

I’m thinking about the possibility of a system spike when reconnecting. First thing is try is disconnecting, wait until everything dies, then reconnect. If you get the same code, then it sounds like the dealer needs to get involved

    2nd Class Owner

We all serve Arachnia, Queen of the Spyder People, who was one of the key adversaries in Tom Paris' holodeck program, The Adventures of Captain Proton. She originated from the namesake location, Arachnia. Her Majesty would not suffer any of her people to be considered ‘2nd class’!

Does the 2020RT Limited decrease the wind buffeting of the driver?

I’m 5’10”. On highway with the stock windshield just below eye level no buffeting or wind For me or passenger. It’s like I’m riding in a bubble

New spyder owner, old motorcyclist: is there a kit to add a handlebar brake lever

Adding something to a critical system like brakes brings the risk that the addition may impact normal function. I wouldn’t mess with the brakes until/unless I found it impossible to adapt to the foot brake. I figured it out on my test drive before purchase. The sales guy released the park...

    BRP COnnect questions

My experience with BRP Connect, and YMMV, is that is essentially unusable in its current form. Bluetooth connection to either phone or helmet may, or may not reconnect. Music controls may, or may not respond. Interface is badly non intuitive. Screen size is too small for effective navigation...

Drink holder options on a 2021 RT LTD?

Yes, but I’ve checked angles with it on and off. Not losing significant steering, especially since I only go to the limit in slow speed manoeuvre like parking. I allow for it, and don’t jam it to the stop

Drink holder options on a 2021 RT LTD?

https://www.drink2go.com/ I have the Spyder2go and drink2go pair. The Spyder2go is a one bolt mount to the left grip, and the drink2go clamps to the rear handgrip. Works well for me

This is about to get real ... so here come the questions

I don’t worry much about leaving my helmet hooked on a handlebar or on the seat. Most people with ill intent seem to understand that a large bike likely comes with a large biker they don’t want to piss off...

    newbie question on cornering

Way too much technical analysis for me. Ride it till you’re comfortable. Transition from 2 wh to 2-in-front 3 wh happens naturally over time. Depending on how much you ride takes up to a month

    2020 RT Limited

Love my ‘20 RTL (my first Spyder) I don’t get bent around the power question much. I didn’t buy it to compete. It doesn’t seem to have any difficulty reaching and sustaining the posted speed limits, so I lean back and enjoy the ride

    2020RT remaining gas in tank

Calculations can be context dependent too. If I’m going on a long run I’ll typically ride through town to the service station closest to my highway access. When I fill up the calculation is based (in part) on my in-town consumption and gives a reasonable range estimate based on that. Then I head...

    Utter disappointment

‘Work ethic’ and ‘Integrity’ have become every bit as uncommon as ‘Common Sense’. In my opinion the overriding ‘profit motive’ will do that to an economy. The thought used to be ‘If you build a better mousetrap....’, but today it’s ‘If you build a cheaper mousetrap....’. Quality has been...

Oil change before winter storage or after ? Your thoughts?

:popcorn:I LOVE these oil threads! There are more opinions about oil brands, oil changes, timing for oil changes than there are oil brands or days in the calendar :popcorn:
