• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need help on buying an accessory.

I need the wisdom of this group to help me make up my mind about getting a CB setup on my 2009 RS Spyder. I mostly ride solo on weekends but I have a brother-in-law that I will ride with a few times a year. He has a CB setup on his bike. He has moved closer to me so we will ride together more...

I got a small surprise when I took my front wheels off my RS.

Peter, thanks for the kind words! I appreciate Peter's kind words. I reposted because I was concerned that a few may have been confused by my first post about how I was taking off my front tires. I wanted to let people know you have to loosen the lugs on both sides because of how light the...

I got a small surprise when I took my front wheels off my RS.

I was lifting each side separately and I thought the weight of the Spyder on the second wheel would allow me to loosen the lug nuts. However, after lifting one side I was not able to loosen the lug nuts on the opposite side because the tire would spin on the smooth concrete floor. Now, I...

I got a small surprise when I took my front wheels off my RS.

I took my front wheels off my RS yesterday for the first time (putting on new tires). I loosen the lug nuts on one side and then jacked up that side and removed the tire. The surprise was when I went to the other wheel and tried to loosen the lug nuts I was able to spin the tire on the smooth...

I did it! My first modification to my RS!

I did some riding after the handle bar risers were installed and I had to readjust my mirrors but they seem to be OK without the mirror extensions right now. I will test some more in all types of riding conditions. If others are wondering I'm 5' 8" tall and really like the upright seating on the...

I did it! My first modification to my RS!

I installed a set of Rivco handlebar risers on my 2009 RS this afternoon! I know that this may be old hat to others that have started with a GS or RS and moved on but this bike is new to me. I feel that I am just average at tinkering skills and I didn't have any major problems with the upgrade...

    Installed 2009 RS Gas Door

Great looking gas cap modification but a question. I like how your gas cap modification turned out. However, looking at the pictures I noticed your seat pad. Is it a gel pad? Does it help with comfort on longer rides? What is the cost and where can you get one? Thanks!

    Newbie question about front tires.

Thanks for the help with my question. I appreciate the posts on front tires. I have a little over 10K miles on my 2009 RS and I have uneven wear on the front tires. There is more wear on the inside rims than the outside. I had the Spyder undergo an alignment about 2 weeks ago but I will be...

    Newbie question about front tires.

I have been reading on this forum about different front tires for the Spyder RS. I have a new to me 2009 RS that will be needing new front tires soon. I have read about the different automobile tires people have been using to replace their originals. I'm a little nervous about changing from the...
