• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder as a daily driver? Pros/Cons?

I have an one day a week that I ride my spyder to work. Why? Because on the other days I live about one mile from work; but one day a week I have to go about 50 miles to another office. I could ride my spyder to work everyday but I would hate to quit riding after one mile! I try to ride that...

    Lug Nuts

I am always learning someting new when reading these posts. I just had my front wheels off my spyder and I didn't know you could buy special protective sockets for lug nuts. I used a regular four socket tire tool and tried to be careful. I appreciate the collective wisdom of this group when it...

    What GPS do you have

Garmin 660 GPS. I just added a micro card to it with music on it. I a little disappointed in how it doesn't show up better in bright sunlight. However, I am enjoying the music!

    WTF?

I'm really sorry about your damage to your spyder. I hope you can get it fixed and riding agin soon. The Chinese have a curse that says, "may you live in interesting times" because of the stress that comes from those "interesting times". Like someone else said, don't let it get you down. Nobody...

    XA Radio problem

There are two XM signals that you could be receiving while riding if you live in or near a metro area. Sirius XM leases bandwidth from radio stations in metro areas to broadcast their signals. This is so they will have better coverage around tall buildings that can block satellite signals from...

Need help on buying an accessory.

Now the question to you is, how do you want to hear this in your helmet? This is where the setup can get more complicated. Wired earbuds? or Bluetooth? Bob, I would probably want to use a Bluetooth because a wired earbud would be whipping in the wind. However, I know that will really drive up...

Need help on buying an accessory.

I realize that he's already got the CB, but a Bluetooth bike to bike system is probably the better way to get the job done. Bob, I agree with you but my brother-in-law is old school and he probably won't go the blue tooth route (I'm old school too, just from a different school). Jim
