• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone attended one of these 3 wheel riding courses?

I just got done with a regular motorcycle course, and if I was looking to ride a motorcycle it would have been fine. All the techniques they taught me (leaning, front and rear braking, riding the clutch/clutch engagement zone) don't really apply to the ryker. I was wondering if one of these...

Out with the old, in with the new... (Sway bar end links)

Thank you for the detailed reply, much appreciated. I've really been looking at all these upgrades that people are doing to their rykers. The cosmetic stuff I'm not so interested in, I'll paint it whenever I want to, . but the performance stuff peaks my interest. The youtube videos I've...

Rally does fairly well in grass

that is interesting. So, with studded tires he could go, just not stop in the ice. So, if I understand you, hard pack is ok with studded tires, just not in new accumulations. We are allowed to have studded tires for certain months then they have to be removed. In PA it snows here in the...

Out with the old, in with the new... (Sway bar end links)

do you do a lot of riding? The reason I ask is I was thinking of putting these on but wanted to know if there was any performance degradation over time. Don't get me wrong, I know the maker is on here and they look solid, they have very favorable reviews, and I am certainly not calling his...

Rally does fairly well in grass

You get it. I look at those ice cycles and think it is basically spikes in tires for traction with clearance. There is no doubt if I had the funds to play around with it, I could make a rykemobile. I could honestly do a few tire changes and get the ryke to dirt climb, but to climb serious...

CVT noise "shifting" in and out of neutral - drive belt?

Thank you for posting this information. I am sorry you had to experience this. Great dealer it seems like. Would have been better had they caught it, but they did the right thing in the end.

Rally does fairly well in grass

I didn't take it up to high speeds, but I was playing in my yard today and the Ryker did pretty good going through my field. I live in the boondocks and have a little bit of land, so I thought why not try it out. A couple of hundred yards straight out, some twists and turns, figure eights...

excessive vibration in handlebars or is it me?

I went for a ride the other day after I moved the handle bars up one notch on the ryker rally. They didn't get tingly, but then again it wasn't a long run on a highway. I had driven to an empty parking lot to practice slaloming and figure eights. Figure eights are easy enough, but to make...

excessive vibration in handlebars or is it me?

giving this a shot tonight, thanks for the details. Just the right hand gets tingly, I think it's because the left does nothing at all and the right has to hold that throttle wide open to the posted speed limit. :)

excessive vibration in handlebars or is it me?

Just to reply to a couple of posters, I can't relax my hands much more on the grips without taking them off. THe only time they get tight on the grips are 1) when taking a hard right and accelerating (not tight mind you, but tighter than cruising) 2) when something pops up, like a deer or some...

excessive vibration in handlebars or is it me?

I see lots of people riding with one hand off the bars, not ryker owners, just bikers.

excessive vibration in handlebars or is it me?

I only have 500 miles on the bike so far, so I am not an expert by any stretch. Most of my riding is in the boondocks and I travel at the posted speed limit :P I've only owned it for a little over 3 weeks. Here is my question, while riding to a distance about 30 minutes away, hands got...

    Homemade Linq accessories

is this like the milwaukee packout overpriced stuff? People are now selling packout feet that you buy for a couple of bucks and attach anything you want to the packout system. I'm currently looking into storage options, backpack is ok, but heavier loads are rather irksome. I'm not seeing that...

    Bucket List Trip Report

Oh man, that sounds like a ride. I have a ton of questions, but I will limit it to a few. (new rally owner here) Fuel mileage on average? Any leaks/problems with storage? You replied about having ear plugs, what kind of helmet were you wearing? Full face/modular/open? After market lights...

Want Yellow accent panels - where can I get the paint?

I've never used it on a ryker plastic panel, but I have plastidip some tools (handles). IN some cases it held up well, in other cases it peeled off. I am familiar with painting, so I made sure to remove any coating and clean it, then dipped, then dried per manufacturer's directions. I've...

Got my new Ryker - didn't even make it a mile

On page 13 of the manual, right column: Notice: When riding, make sure not to lay your foot on brake pedal. Otherwise, the engine management will activate the limp home mode to protect the braking system. I have no idea if it generates a code when it does that.

Was your stock Ryker stable over 50mph? If not, what did you do?

I bought my 2021 rally and had no issues with the handling. I would say that the majority of my riding so far is between 45 and 70 mph. My first 20 miles or so were a little rougher until I started to relax my grip. Feels a little loose while driving around curves, but that might just be me...

Hello A gigantic thank you to all the forum people who posted Ryker info. I lurked and read everything on here. Dealer didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. I now own a 2021 Ryker rally. Just bought it three days ago. I only have about 180 miles on it so far, so I am not an...
