• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Handlebar risers

An air compressor helps a ton getting the grips off. Just blew some air inside and mine came right off.

    O2 modifier - VERY HAPPY

All I know is that if I put my airbox back on in place of the race intake I have to reduce the amount of fuel or it runs rich. That is proof enough for me that it increases airflow and leans out the engine.

    Handling

swaybar and setting the Toe on the front-end totally changed the handling for the better.

    Juicebox and low speed burble

I can reproduce this issue around 100MPH. Let off anywhere around 100MPH and it cuts out for a second or 2. I liked the .5 and .5 settings except for this issue. Seems to do it less and less until you get to an offset of 3.5 between the 2 settings. Mine has done this with more than one juice...

    Juicebox and low speed burble

The O2 modifier works great for this. Many recommend the O2 modifier to address areas the JB cannot.

    Winter Storage and Pesky Critters

I was always worried about covering the exhaust as it may create condensation inside the pipe, etc..

My 4 wheel can am spyder and some off my other bikes pics first place winners

Would love details on handling, etc. Seems there would be much less body roll in the corners.

    Perplexing symptom

The farther apart the setting are the less often the issue occurs. Someone stated that when the are 3.5 apart it no longer happens. I have mine 3 apart and occasionally I experience the issue around 100MPH but nowhere near as often as when they were the same.

    Riding without front trunk.

The engine would run cooler for sure. Probably less stable at speeds due to lack of downforce on the trunk.

    Tire pressures? (Again!)

18 front and 28 rear with stock tires. Mine have never lost more than 1LB of air while sitting all winter long. Air pressure is most likely not going to make a difference in the wear on the rear tire. It balloons at speed causing the center to wear quicker. I tried more and less pressure...

    Rear Tire Options

Has anyone tried a different size on the stock rim? I don't know much about tires but I really like the look of this Hoosier. It's a 225/55/15. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Hoosier&tireModel=Radial+Wet&partnum=255HR5WET&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

Has anyone tried the bearings from NAPA to confirm they work properly?

    Rear Tire Options

I am looking for rear tire options others have tried. I found a few searching on this site but not much in the way of feedback. At 18K miles my 3rd tire is toast. The first 2 were stock tires and the last one was a Toyo. All lasted about 6K miles. The Toyo was lighter by 2Lbs, had similar...

Looking for a loud pipe - any ideas?

I can't stand loud pipes including my own. However, the Leo Vince has saved my life several times already. The deer, squirrels, cats, dogs, and people either look up or start running the opposite direction. People jogging with headsets (very common) even turn to see what is coming well...

Isle of Man TT... A MUST WATCH!

    ? w/Evoluzione filter

I would double check on whether this filter requires oil. Almost all foam filters require oil to work properly. I know the filter that comes with the race intake comes with oil on it. Not sure about the performance filter but would not put on before checking if it requires oil.

    ? w/Evoluzione filter

I have used Kerosene on all my foam filters over the years. I find nothing works better. Then I wash in warm soapy water to get out the smell.

Gas smell during and after ride

Gas smell is not normal! Check connections on the fuel pump as well as the evap. cannister. They are right next to each other under the right top panel.

    Quest for More Power...

I think I was told the drop in pistons would get about 10HP gain and an additional 15HP with the CAMS.
