• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Phone fast charger and volt meter working good. The blue display is hard to read in the sunlight but it's readable at a stop if needed.

Can anyone explain what aftermarket end links actually DO?

Yes 260 I replaced all 4. Ever work on a car front end? Nothing has any slop meaning the tolerances are very tight, even the hardware. That clamping force just ain’t enough, especially at a right angle to the load. It may sound impossible but the proof is in the pudding, first hand and my...

Can anyone explain what aftermarket end links actually DO?

Chiming in on this for sure. The end-links transfer vertical movement link between the lower A-arm and sway/stabilizer bar. OEM links are not just plastic, they are fiber reinforced and plenty strong for their task under usual conditions. Of course bumps and potholes, age, neglect, and defects...

Once again, BRP didn't show up for Daytona Bike Week!!

Hello, Lots of interesting reading here. IMHO either BRP is dumb or they don’t care, or possibly an economic issue. They’re happy with the way things are and economically N. America is is still on shaky ground, or just not firm ground. Obviously they’re not hot to expand the line currently...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

BR swaybar and hardware Finished the Baja Ron bar today in my '22 F3 Special after waiting a few days for the specific hardware to finish the job, here's the long story; I owned a '20 Ryker rally that had jittery steering above 50mph, I had read about it and sure enough it was true. I didn't...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Spent Sunday morning working on minor improvements. Installed battery maintainer lead through its own grommet hole in the frunk in preparation for winter. Then focused on a new fast charge usb port next to the ignition and the garage door button on the opposite side. Of course had to do a test...

Replaced brake rod, now need to bleed - any ideas why?

So Rich, you disconnected the rear of the rod then then the front - which is really the only way you can do it right? Then reverse with the new rod... So here's a guess = when you attached the new rod, it got pulled and introduced air, so it follows that bleeding is the fix. Keep posted and safe...

Ryker Rally 2022 sway bar end link hardware bolt size?

Hi, you need a metric 6x26 with a 22mm or 7/8 shoulder and a appropriate nylon insert nut. I had to use some emery cloth to reduce that 6 a little bit but it worked OK.

Gas cap locking difficulty - any ideas & help?

Hi Babyblue, a very light layer of silicone on the seal will fix it. Either grease applied with the fingertip or spray the tip of the finger. Silicone, not other lubricants. Ride safe!

New bike 600 miles and already troubles?

1st video the parking brake is off. It must be on to start and your foot on the brake. 2nd video, bad battery or connection. It's not that expensive, pull it and have a health check done on it. Good luck!
