• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need a hand, electrical system is dead.

Hey, I haven't seen you on here for a while - hope life is good out there. Sounds like a voltage issue. Check voltage at the battery posts. I don't think the computer will play with less than 11.8 or so. You might try a slow charge and see what happens. Mine died a few weeks ago and I had...

    ABATE of Florida

The helmet law modification in FL allows the rider the freedom of choice - it does have limits as to age and insurance coverage. Personally, I always wear my helmet in FL and any other state that gives the rider the choice, not the government. ABATE FL also pushes enforcement of driving...

BRP Refuses to fix my 2010 RT-S

I don't know why this thread irritates me so but it does  I don't mean to offend but sometimes, you just can't hold it in... The OP seems to have the need to talk on the phone while riding. Why?? Cut the cord and enjoy the ride. Distracted driving applies to riders on the phone as well...

First Coast Powersports-St Augustine: My service experience

Sorry to hear of the problems you have had. I don't know if everything you listed would be covered under warranty but they should have checked it out quickly, without a doubt. I have had good support from Jacksonville Powersports on Atlantic. They have a good service department and they are a...

Got stopped at a dui check point.

If they were stopping everyone (cars, trucks, bikes, etc.) it is a good thing. If they were focusing only on bikes, notify your local ABATE chapter with the date, location and details. There are places that use these types of stops aimed at bikers and then hand out tickets for minor or...

    Cutting stock antenna down?

I wouldn't ... Broke my original and it seemed to be fiber of some kind and shredded the end. There are a number of shorty styles out there. I found on at an auto parts place that is about 2 ft long and works great. Use a 7mm wrench (I believe). Remove the old antenna and find the right...

Question about manual shift VS electric shift

I think the 14's have floorboards. With the SM, you do not have to set the brake and you can leave it in gear. I like being able to ride in town and use what ever gear I feel like. Many swear by the SE and it is really all about what you are comfortable with.

What do you guys think of these pictures?

I have ridden with Kenny many times and he is always safe and sane. I think he was showing off for the camera and if you viewed a lot of the pictures (especially Killboy's) you see people do this all the time. Some of the women even show body parts :yikes: Maybe you missed the picture of...

Thanks for the great write up! I sure am glad that you made it through the rain without incident. I went to college in Springfield and I have experienced those huge storms that even have turned into sleet when I thought it was way too warm for that. It was a good thing that you didn't run...
