• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Bought the wife the FOBO 2 sensors for her Ryker and will be installing them tonight. It's a surprise. Also bought 2 dog carriers and goggles for the pups and will be figuring that out. They love riding in the truck so I'm sure they'll love it on the bikes as well.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

This week I'm going to attempt to add the missing belt guard that's been sitting in my garage for almost 2 years. I heard there's minimal tolerance between the tire and the guard and the belt and the guard. I guess I'll find out. As long as it doesn't vibrate and rub against either one, I'll...

Need some screws for Left Combo switch - part number?

What I could find out was that the screws that hold the throttle assembly together are M4x25. I would guess that would be close for the blinker assembly as well. They may not be 25mm long (1 inch), but I'm guessing they're still M4 thread. You can get those at any hardware store.

Hi Deanna. I'm not sure about more stations. If by more, you mean did those stations I listened to return? Yes.

Anyone Added a large (7") Carplay Display screen to a Spyder RT?

Update on my Carpuride. It has the 7" screen, and it does not fit between the bars. I thought for sure it did, but nope. I still like where it is, though.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Got the battery tender leads to permanently install and will install them tomorrow. I'm going to give her a bath as well and if I have time, put the ceramic wax on her I bought last year. Will take more pictures after she's washed. Then the wife and I are going for a ride. EDIT 6/8/24: Here...

Short reach bars on 2020+ RT

I had the F3 Attitude bars for a while. I then bought the short reach bars, but I felt like I had to have T-Rex arms to drive the bike. I ended up buying the HeliBars. Love them.

Anyone Added a large (7") Carplay Display screen to a Spyder RT?

I'm 5' 10" (yes that is average so stop laughing). I can see the cluster gauges, but the unit is distracting to me if I put it between the bars due to the ball mount and ball mount coupler I'm using. Might also be a little OCD thrown in there as well. When it stops raining, I'll try and get...

Any problems connecting GPS direct to battery?

Watch this video from a slingmods installation. At the 4 minute or so mark, it shows you where the customer accessory circuit is. https://youtu.be/oglyz7Nq-3s

Battery Dead, seat not opening - does it need power to open?

I kind of figured as much. I was telling my wife pretty much the same thing about the bike being power hungry. A lot of electronic demands on the battery. A bike like this should have come with a car battery in my opinion. It's not like there isn't room for it.

Help me decide: 2019 RTL - RLS Cat Delete or RLS Crusher?

I looked up NY State law for modified exhausts. Unfortunately, I live in NY, and they passed a law back in '21 that states no exhausts can be modified. Now, I am not sure people are paying attention to that law since I still hear bikes and cars that have modified exhausts, but I'm not sure that...

Anyone Added a large (7") Carplay Display screen to a Spyder RT?

It does fit between the bars, barely, but I didn't want it interfering with my key. It sat right over it. Also, with it being between the bars, it was a distraction when looking at my gauge cluster.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Here's a couple of pictures of the add-ons I did this past weekend. I added the lights on the top case and modified a blank switch plate to add the dual USB port plug. I also added the Carpirude as well. With installing the USB device, I cut out the middle of the blank switch cover. The...

Here's the pic of the Carpirude. Pardon the dirty bike. I had to replace the battery yesterday and haven't had a chance to wash her yet.

Help me decide: 2019 RTL - RLS Cat Delete or RLS Crusher?

I've been contemplating getting the RLS cat delete, but from the videos I've seen, it can get loud when the rpm's are revved up. Kind of sounds like those little cars with those annoying mufflers. I'm being educated by videos. I haven't heard the setup in person so I'm speculating from that.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Yesterday I replaced my 4-year-old OEM battery. Man are they expensive! Got battery tender leads coming and will be adding that to the bike when they arrive. No more guessing. I'll have a full charge every time I take her out. Hoping to get pics tonight of the things I did over the weekend...

I'd much prefer the 3's come in the form of money. Like find a penny today, then $10 tomorrow, and the 3rd is winning the lottery so I can retire. :firstplace:

Using 4 FOBO TPMS senders to monitor the tires + ACS too!

Peter gave me a good explanation, but I also talked to the service tech at my local dealership. He indeed confirmed that the "bladder" they use is to accommodate all types of riders, but also admitted that they could have done a better job implementing the idea. He mentioned that their...
