• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Busting common hydration myths

Utah, I'm going to file this one right next to the one that says the only exercise you need is riding your spyder. Right Pete? The person's reasoning was that he/she did lot of twisties and with all the pushing/pulling with arms and legs that was all the workout needed.;) I'll stick with the...

A picture is worth a thousand words.

I always wear a full face helmet when riding. But, the helmet only protects your skull. The brain floats in fluid and can bounce into the impact side of the skull, and then if you are really unlucky it will bounce in the opposite direction and hit the skull, again. I know over the years there...

    People sure are dumb.

I really don't see the difference in the 'young people' now versus when I was in high school, regarding ability to learn or work ethic. In my last and final career I worked in a few hospitals and worked alongside those in their early 20's to those ready for retirement. No age group stuck out...

    Skin Cancer CAUTION GRAPHIC PICTURE.

I see that you say it may go on for several years, I hope they do not find anything. But, does going to the dermatologist stop after that? It was about 30 years ago when a physician's assistant said I had a lot of skin damage and needed to see a dermatologist. I asked what she meant by a lot...

Can dystopian world views be useful to society?

My limited view of AI is each morning I find myself thanking Alexa when she gives me the weather and the latest news, and she tells me what a nice person I am. Then, I think what little she really knows.

This is the link I've been looking for: https://www.webmd.com/prostate-cancer/prostate-cancer-late-in-life-diagnosis I like this link based on what they said: "When you and your doctor discuss diagnosis and treatment options, the focus should not only be on your chronologic age -- the number...

Navydad..in regards to your comment for PSA...

I'm still trying to get past what your current dr. said and thinking other drs. may feel the same way even when or if the new PSE comes about, regarding people over 70, especially with comorbidities.

Navydad..in regards to your comment for PSA...

I agree with everything you say. I was just curious that the dr. said your PSA was non detectible. Also, up until just recently the "medical field" felt once you reached 70 it wasn't necessary to check your PSA. Their thinking was you probably had other comorbidities, and you wouldn't gain...

When you have acute prostatitis you definitely need antibiotics quickly, or it can end badly. After my first bout I went 3 years without any problem, then it struck again.
