• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

'08 GS Kumho rear tire pressure

I am on my 2nd Kumho Ecsta AST and use 30 psi in mine. 18 seems pretty low to me, but then again I never ran my non-OEM tire that low. Only got 7K out of my OEM...but am on close to 20K on my 2nd Kumho and it's not even showing signs of wear (and I ryde on the aggressive side). I put a Kenda...

No luck Selling Spyder - should I part it out?

I totally get it... From one '08 GS owner with skulls to another '08 GS owner with skulls...I get nothing but compliments on my paint job. It is a bit dark for some (windshield painted with grim reaper beheading an angel), but it is exactly why I bought it. I find your asking price fair and...

    Chatterbox vs Sena

I have the Sena SMH 10 dual pack and can talk and listen to music both...not only can I do both, but I can share my music with others as well as connect to non Sena headsets. I chose the Sena for the cross connect capability specifically.

    I'm ashamed of myself..!!

Never even thought to give the "motorcycle wave" to a slingshot. I am by no means an elitist, but I found myself chuckling when my neighbor invited me to ryde with him and his Vespa club last summer. I apologized for my snicker and politely declined his invitation. They may run circles around me...

    First F3 deliveries??

Interesting...I had to put down a $500 deposit to get the extended warranty (And $1000 in free accessories). I was told by both the dealer AND the BRP representative (I put down my deposit right after the demo ride) that delivery would be between Jan 1st and Jan 31st.

    annybody switching for the f3

Hellcat... A Charger for me. In fact, a Hellcat edition Charger. Something about 707 horsepower makes me salivate. This is why I put a deposit down on the "Hellcat" of the Spyder lineup...that torque and power had me at "HELLO"...

    annybody switching for the f3

Yazz...I totally agree with you. I can't believe I am contemplating selling a reliable, paid off Premiere Edition Spyder with many farkles for a new Spyder with a hefty monthly payment (In addition to the ST-L I am still paying on). Still working the logistics of how to keep them all. Guess I...

    annybody switching for the f3

Put down my deposit... I put a deposit down on an F3-S. Problem is I can't see being without Charlotte (My '08 GS Premiere edition). If i kept my GS AND the F3, that would make us a 3 Spyder household including my gal's ST-L. Not to mention that I still owe many years on the ST-L. Considering...

    **Juicebox Pro Map Request**

I recently had a Juicebox Pro installed on my '08 GS. In going through the TBR maps available, I am not finding any that are meeting my needs. The two Can Am Spyder maps that come with the Juicebox Pro are not working for me at all, so I downloaded 10 more from the TBR website...but still don't...

    Suction mount to windshield

Sue...I use the Ram mount suction cup, but not on my windshield. They are VERY strong in suction. There should be no issue as long as you tether it...this way if the suction fails, you still have your equipment, dangling, albeit. On the next ride, check out my setup for ideas. Suction works...

    Best Cell Phone mount?

I too recommend the RAM Mount X-Grip. They even have sizes to fit Phablet size phones like the Note 4. A word of caution, I had just crested the 105mph mark on a day with a crosswind and lost my Note 2. Purely my fault though...it was a super windy day, and I was exceeding the speed limit a tad...

A sad day...put Spyder into winter storage - ugh....

Here in my part of Cali we ryde year round. I just broke out the jacket with liner and will be wearing the gauntlet gloves in another month or so...otherwise I keep on keeping on. I have to admit that in the winter I do miss the heated handgrips on the '13 ST-L, but I just keep telling myself...

CALL FROM DISCOUNT TIRE... Ref KUMHO ECSTA AST

Im on my 2nd Kumho and have experienced NO hydroplaning whatsoever...and this is as an aggressive driver on the twisties. Tire wear with the Kenda was 5k-7k...and the Kumho is easily 15k+. The kenda is a softer compound, which makes it stick to the road very well...but it also means it wears at...

Got rear ended last night - more bad news today

I too was rear ended by three "19ish year old white guys" (not sure what part the driver's race plays in the story...) last year. Same story as yours...no insurance. I let my uninsured motorist policy kick in and cover the damage, drove my rental in teh meantime, and my SUV is right as rain. I...

    Sue Hopper is a GENIUS!

Here is the Jack Skellington she did on my gal's bike. P.S. The '14 RT'L is not mine...it was a loaner from the dealership while mine was in the shop.

    Eliminating "NANNY"

As more of a sport bike rider, I can totally understand WHY someone would want to disable the Nanny...but HOW is the operative question. Seems like the system is integrated throughout the bike. I have learned to ryde within the limitations of the Nanny...but let me tell you, I still yearn for...

    brake squeel fix

I wash my spyder(s) on the weekends and always pay close attention to washing the wheels...getting the rotors/calipers/pads wet. It simply rinses off the brake dust, which contributes to the squeaking. I do about 200-350 miles each weekend, and I don't get squeaks unless I miss a weekend or 2. I...
