• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First start of the season = brake failure message

I can't go for a ride before tomorrow but I topped up the brake fluid and it didn't throw the message when I started it, so looks like you're batting 100% Scotty. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

First start of the season = brake failure message

My '10 RT with almost 16,000 km (10,000 miles) started on the first try after coming out of 6 months of winter hibernation. Which was nice. But it's also showing a brake failure in the display. The brakes are working OK so I went to the gas station to fill the tires and it doesn't show the...

Durango Owner's Event Ryders from Canada

Hi John, Good question! I was looking at that last night and, as much as I'd like to see Woody Creek, it's too much off the beaten path to make sense for me to make the HST pilgrimage on this trip What I did see on the map and that I'd rather do, and that aren't hard to get to, are Arches...

Durango Owner's Event Ryders from Canada

Hi Max LTD, My route isn't cast in stone, but so far it's looking like the 16th in Waterton, then Butte (640 km), Salt Lake City (670 km), Woody Creek CO (650 km, that's where Hunter S Thompson lived), and the Durango (385 km), pretty easy days I'm thinking. Coming back, I'd leave on the 22nd...

Where can I find info for the Durango event?

Thanks Scotty. Seems like a strange way for them to keep people interested -- these trips take some planning and scheduling on our side too. Any idea if registration limited to a certain number?

Where can I find info for the Durango event?

I've checked the BRP site and done a search here, but can't find anything about the event or if registration is open. Anyone know more than that? The town's website thinks there's going to be an event...

Durango meet and HST side trips?

I just realized that Hunter S Thompson's last home, Woody Creek, CO, isn't too far from Durango. There's also stories about the Dr and the Red Lion Inn in Durango, so as this'll be as close as I've ever been to his old stomping grounds, I'd like to make a few side trips when I'm down for the...

    Did You or Didn't You?

At least 55 years ago (so I was 5 or younger) my father tried a Vespa and gave me a ride. Scared the crap out of me. Sometime in high school I tried a friend's 175 Suzuki. Getting rolling was OK, but I must have missed the instructions about stopping. Having to choose between a swimming pool...
