• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2015 st headlight change

WOW, Holy tight quarters Batman!!! I just bought my wife a set of metal ribbon heat sink style. (Fan motors create RF noise) I got the Instrument Panel off and I can get my finger to the back of the bulb. But NO Possible way can I grab or turn anything in there. It looks like the best...

    Lift for ST SE5 Limited

I use a Sears/Craftsman lift/jack. The problem that I've found is that the lift has to be placed under the center of the vehicle, which is right where the oil drain is, which is usually where I need to work. So I jack it up, set wood blocks & jack stands under it, and remove the jack...

    2016 ST-S and Hot Feet

It’s HOT! We have a ‘13 ST-S. My wife quick shifts the bike, her feet hug the lower panels. She was complaining about heat also. I removed panels under the bike to allow more ventilation, installed updated radiator panel in lower right side. In a recent ride I ask her to keep the bike above...

How to deal with flat tire

Question asked & answered Plug kit & mini compressor. I have used a liquid put into the air cavity of the tire only once. The liquid filled the hole, stopped the leak. But also screwed up the tire balance enough to cause a bad vibration. I’ve used sticky worm style plugs several times, with...

Advice on ST (Update). I won’t go back to 2 wheels.

Get the panels!!! Our local stealership in Georgetown, TX had not heard of the issue. I pointed out a couple in service had the update and threatened to go to another shop. I copied the owner on a email and 3 days later the stealership offer to do the panel update for $100. We paid 1.5 hr...

Well, I sounds like you took the leap. Hope you got or will soon get the panel updates. Check air pressure, stiffen the front shocks if adjustable. Enjoy!

    Advise on 2013 ST

My wife (Poor School Teacher) had a '09 RS and moved to the '13 ST-S, SE5. She Loves it. Rides it to school & whenever she can. The riding position is much more comfortable. She has the same color. IF you are buying from a dealer, you want them to install the updated vent panels. (Service...

    Help

Cut it Up I'm going to remove the cat, then using a hand grinder, cut the can in half. Using a hand chisel & metal bristle brush wheel, remove the contents of the cat. Then, either take is to a muffler shop or buy a stick welder and put the piece back together. I did this on my '13 Harley...

    2013 Heat Issue

RS models NOT included. We moved from RS to ST. As far as retaining heat, the RS model was much worse than the unmodified ST. The wife has second degree burn scars on her left leg. We highly recommend the conversion to ALL RS/GS & ST's.

    BRP Heated Vest

Agree! Wife has been using Gerbing on my bike for 2-3 years. Soon I will wire in the pigtail and safety switch to the new to her '13 STS aka "Maggie". She has one battery, when she unplugs and continues to need heat.

Rear LED turn signals questions. (ST-L SE5)

Always state the year model of your ride. 1. No there is not a "trailer flasher" for the Spyders. Similar to the flasher you'd replace when you added a hitch to a cage. 2. The 4way flash warning varies by manufacturer. I used a Kuryakyn alarm friendly resistor, designed for Harley's. It...

    New to me - 2013 Spyder ST-SE5

Bag Signals I found that any change in the turn signal circuit will send you into HyperFlash. I added a load equalizer and couldn't use the LED bulbs as they are too deep. So I had to order my turn signals #67 Red LEDs from SuperbrightLED.com.

    New to me - 2013 Spyder ST-SE5

Jumper for switch lights "SPDT for the driving lights. I’m working with adding a jumper for this switch to plug into to the stock Spyder harness. Right now I have direct wiring to the driving lights. Works great. Although all you really need is an SpSt ON-OFF switch...
